Lana Del Rey

So what do you guys think of Lana Del Rey and her music? I bought her album "Born To Die" a few months ago and I really, really like it. She's a really good songwriter and I love how she incorporates a retro style to her songs, kind of like combining 50s and 60s music with modern pop and hip hop. She's really fresh and original in my oppinion, and I love her deep voice. Also her music videos are amazing, I LOVE the scenery and images in all of them, especially Summertime Sadness, Carmen and National Anthem (even though that's my least favourite song of the album). On the album, my favourite songs have to be "Carmen", "Born To Die", "Million Dollar Man", "Video Games", "Diet Mtn Dew" and "Without You"

I also love her older songs that she did under her real name, Lizzie Grant, like "Money Hunny", "Kill Kill", "Oh Say Can You See", "Gramma", "Pawn Shop Blues", "Yayo" and "Nothing More Georgeous Than A Hundred Dollar Bill".

Oh I love Lana Del Rey! The first song I heard by her was 'Born to Die' and I fell in love with it. My other favorites by her are 'Blue Jeans', 'Video Games', 'Summertime Sadness', and 'Dark Paradise'. I love her voice and the uniqueness of her songs.

Re: Lana Del Rey

I've recently been discovering a lot of unreleased tracks by Lana on youtube, and most of them are really, REALLY good, and should really be put in an album. "The Man I Love", "Raise Me Up", "Mermaid Motel", "Paris", "Jimmy Necco", "Kinda Outta Luck" and "Put Me In a Movie" are a few of them. She's a really unique songwriter and singer. She seems kind of obsessed with Coney Island though

I love her unreleased songs too!

I'm really liking her recent album Paradise. Especially the song Body Electric...it's sooooo good!
