No, that sort of thing should make you play much harder, not much weaker. Duke should be a tough team, but they just havent shown me that they are good enough.

Not everyone. Redick is going down as a legend. That's really saying something. It is a feeling not many can comprehend.

Duke plays Boston College today, who do you think will win?

DUKE WINS!!!

Redick went 7-11 and scored a total of 26 points. Excellent game. He was hitting them like people rarely get to see.

Re: NCAA Basketball

It was close, but I was rooting for Duke. And of course Redick is gonna be a legend, he is a great player.

Anyway, Im not sure if I agree that Duke was the best choice for overall #1, but of the 4 #1s, they are the most deserving.

Perhaps you are right, but 13-2 in conference ain't too bad.

So who is the four #1's?

I think it is Duke for Atanta, Memphis, Villanova, and somone else. When do things cap off? I watched bracketology, but they never mentioned it. When does the NCAA tournament begin?

Re: NCAA Basketball

That BC/Duke game was amazing...Duke is almost unbeatable if Redick is on his game, and BC is much better than a 4-seed. I don't know what the selection committee was thinking with a couple of those picks (Air Force!?!?). AlMan, the fourth 1-seed is Connecticut and the tournament starts on Thursday.

Some of those picks (as well as the seeds) were rather odd. I also think too much attention is given to how a team does in their conference tournament while the overall season's record gets overlooked.

Re: NCAA Basketball

I filled out a couple of brackets myself. I put the Blue Devils and the Illini for the championship. I picked with my heart I'm an Illini fan i can't help it. The scores 70-49 Duke lol. If Illinois does get into the Championship game with Duke. Duke will smoke them lol. As my score shows. I'll shut up now.

It seems like Michigan State is a favorite..why do you guys say that?

Duke game on Saturday.

That's the only game I know that is on; which other ones, that are worth watching, are on?

Re: NCAA Basketball

Monmouth's 71-49 victory over Hampton in the play-in game gave the Northeast Conference champions their first NCAA victory in four tries.

It was a pretty good start to the tournament. They killed them with a 66% 3-point percentage in the game. One of their players, whom I can't remember his name, went 5-7, almost all swishes, and a record all time high for him.

Re: NCAA Basketball

I've got Texas, UCLA, North Carolina, and Florida going to the Final Four...I hate picking #1 seeds because everyone else does.

Can't wait until the games start tomorrow. The Thursday and Friday of the first round of the NCAA Tournament are probably my favorite two sports days of the year!

I would have taken Gonzaga over UCLA....

I agree with the favorite sports days.....the tourney is my favorite part of the year. Anything can happen and all the games are good.

This is one of those years where a lot of the experts are saying that all the #1 seeds could actually make it to the final four because they're that good. I've got Duke, Memphis, UCONN and Ohio State. They may have lost in the Big 10 Conference tournament but I think they still have the talent to get there.
