I've also heard a couple other experts say that this is the year that no #1 seeds make it because it's the most wide open tournament ever. I suppose this means that nobody really has any clue, which is probably true...it's too unpredictable to predict.

You're probably right. Oklahoma just got beat by UW Milwaukee and BC and Pacific are tied. My bracket is on the verge of taking a huge blow already!

Re: NCAA Basketball

BC over Pacific in double overtime...BC was quite lucky to survive the first overtime!

The San Diego site was evacuated earlier after a potential threat of some kind was discovered inside the arena, but it didn't turn out to be anything serious so the games will go on as scheduled, only with a delay of an hour or so.

Re: NCAA Basketball

Great job by BC in that second overtime, dominated it from the start. Thanks to Wichita St my bracket took a little hit. Hope everything in San Diego is good, cant wait to see Marquette play.

Re: NCAA Basketball

Who is the better over-all team?

-Conneticut
-UNC
-Illinois
-Michigan

I think that Illinois is the best, even though they are the fourth seed. They are a shooting team (like Duke) and that isn't enough. I want Illinois to go, but I think Michigan will be going to the Final Four, especially after rewatchign their performance last week. Excellent. Tar Heels lost; and I don't think they have it in them. Go Illinois!, but....I think Michigan will be going. As you can see, I am going back on my previous post...

Re: NCAA Basketball

Out of those four teams you posted, UConn is by far the best. They can shoot and play D.

Congrats to Montana, way to upset, along with Alabama.....

Re: NCAA Basketball

Did anyone see the Duke game? I missed it but I know they were up by I think 6 with four minutes left in the first half. The games wasn't on ESPN or ESPN2 or ABC (or anything else on my t.v. guide).

I did, however, watch:

10 Seton Hall (66)
7 Wichita St. (86)

11 Wis.-Milwaukee (82)
6 Oklahoma (74)

13 Pacific (76)
4 Boston College (86)

15 Winthrop (61)
2 Tennessee (63)
14 South Ala. (50)
3 Florida (76)

10 Alabama (90)
7 Marquette (85)

12 Montana (87)
5 Nevada (79)

15 Belmont (44)
2 UCLA (78)

Re: NCAA Basketball

Well the 12 seed beating a 5 seed curse lives on! Syracuse was knocked out by Texas A&M-- can't say I'm surprised though since McNamara was hurt.

You should sign up for March Madness on Demand here. It's free and you can watch all the other games online that aren't televised in your area (everything's on CBS-- they've had the monopoly on the NCAA tourney for years)

Oh man, I didn't hear about that. He probably feels like you know what. Everyone thought thye were going places, some of my friends had them at Final Four (I didn't). I didn't watch that game, either. There were many knockouts of higher ranking teams. It's Madness I tell you!

By the way, Duke won by like 25 or something.

Thanks for the tip Madeline.

Wow, I had to say. Michigan State and GMU game is heating up, no one seems to be missing any shots. It is a great game. I have it on CBS.

Also, UCONN is losing to a #16 seed! They are number 1!!!

Crazy.

Duke wins!!! It is their ninth consecutive Sweet 16!!

Illinois, after being down, regaining the lead by 12, then losing it, lost. Crazy game...

Re: NCAA Basketball

Man I'm so bummed out that Texas A&M is out now. Lost to LSU by a one last three-pointer by LSU. I guess Texas will have to take over from here. I hope Abrams gets in some shots, he graduated last year from my school.

Re: NCAA Basketball

Gonzaga whooped on Indiana whooting what I believe was 28-32 freethrows. Had they not got those freethrows, they would've lost because morrison was not on top of his game shooting someting like 5-15. Not good.

Illinois lost...Washington moving on, right?

And CHALDEAN, your dirt glove looks like a dirty mitten. I'm just messin'

"Dirty Glove" sounds better than "dirty mitten"
not too mention more "street"
which sounds better? "reppin the dirty glove" or "reppin the dirty mitten"? definatly dirty glove
