Does anyone know the premise of this sitcom? Besides them being cavemen? I mean, what will this show revolve around--social insults? Doesn't seem like enough for a 30 minute show, let alone a whole season.

Exactly, there isn't really enough to base a series on. It's better off as a commercial.

Well, let's look at this for a minute. The whole premise of the show is to demonstrate that Neandertahls still are amongst us, and the troubles they are having adapting into modern society. I don't know, but I think it has a funny ring to it.

Before his untimely death at the hands of his estranged wife, comedian Phil Hartman from Saturday Night Live was famous for his CAVEMAN LAWYER bits. I thought they were hillarious. Had he lived, it might have turned into a movie, much like NIGHT AT THE ROXBURY.

"But what do I know? I'm just a caveman."

God rest you, Phil...

The Geico Cavemen have begun shooting the pilot episode. This should be interesting. Do you think Geico will get any credit besides the acknowledgment "Based on characters created by Geico Insurance?"

This is the first time that a commercial has inspired a TV series. Cool, huh?
Wow, I never knew it would be a TV series, that's so cool. I would want to watch that, I'll keep an eye out for it.

Ugh. That's all I can say. I don't like the commercials, they're stupid and overplayed, and I really don't see the point in having an entire show based on them.

There's one point you're overlooking, I think......Phil Hartman was a very talented funny guy, and he won't be on the Geico show. And I don't think that Phil would have thought there was enough material for a TV series. The promo clips they're running on radio sound pretty flat & tired, and the TV promos don't seem any better. I don't think they'll be able to pull it off.

And by the way, I miss Phil, too. A genuine talent.

People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey stuff...

....I miss David Tennant....

They are rather stupid, but I like them and hope the show runs for awhile, One of the charactors went to school with my son, in the second comercil he was the 1 that commments "Did you hear That? ITs so condesending" when he sees the comercil that says "So easy a caveman can do it" he says thay he's not allowed to give out the plots of the show though, something in the contract

Um...This is the strangest thing I've heard in a long time. What exactly is this show going to be about???

No idea . Two cavemen... who work for Geico. It sounds as if it's just one BIG advertisement for them. TV... this is what it comes down to now... shame on them .

I'm certainly not planning on watching it.

I'm pretty sure the show was canceled after a few episodes in 2007.

That's what I figured as well. And I don't plan on catching it if they ever plan on bringing it out on dvd.
