Re: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part Two [incl. SPOILERS]

the clip of Ron and Hermione was amazing and made deliriously happy that their shared scenes will be fantastic. and the Dragon and gringott so epic awesome...

But....
am i the only one that is seriously mad/angry at the "voldemort blasts off Neville"

I mean Neville is supposed to look heroic and shine! not be blast off as easily as Dead weight and in such a cartoony-comedic way!

Grrrr way to ruin the moment and make Neville look stupid.

*grumbles*

I don't think this looks comedic at all. I think before this is when Neville is standing up to Voldemort. It isn't just Voldemort randomly blasting him out of the way. It makes sense and Neville's awesome so I think this looks good.

Edit: Here's the link for all the clips:

Re: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part Two [incl. SPOILERS]

I am wondering if this is the moment of Voldemort and Neville's confrontation like the book. We just don't see it all in that clip. Neville could go "He fought you!" and Voldemort just gets all angry and Neville goes flying...

Then... maybe we don't see Neville for a few minutes. Finally when Ron and Hermione get chased by Nagini... tada, Neville is back, and being all hero-like!

I think the only time they hug is in the Chamber of Secrets, but i am not sure about that.

For some reason i thought Voldemort was going to go to Snape. Is anyone else there when Voldemort kills Snape? I don't think so. At least no one was mentioned.

Click on the links in the menu and there are new short clips from the movie!!
Yeah okay. So these are awesome. They aren't clips exactly though because things are definitely not in the right order in some of them.

That would be alright with me. I like that idea Fury.

right, but it kind of devalues Neville's attempt to stand up to voldemort, if he gets blast so easily.

i mean knocked down or disarmed that's one thing.

but Neville is Sent Off Flying like nothing, and it looked like in those cartoon shows when the villain gets blasten off in an explosion like a piece of furniture or something.

plus, if this is After Harry comes back (which i'm pretty sure it is)
Voldemort's magic should be Bouncing off people and not have a strong effect on them.

sending neville flying and crashing against what's left of the great hall is pretty strong magic, and it makes Neville look insignificant.

i mean, Kingsley can withstand voldemort, but Neville get's blasted off like a mere 1st year.

what were they thinking?

Maybe Neville gets blasted but then gets back up and confronts Voldemort?

If I remember correctly, in the book, Neville doesn't have his wand for one part. I can't recall if that was the case but I remember that happening at some point. So Neville couldn't defend himself. Plus Voldemort is much more powerful than anyone. Now, if this is after Harry comes back, then I have a problem with it, but there's not really anything to support that.

It looks like Neville is holding the sword. Maybe this is when he kills the snake. I don't know if that makes sense though. Neville is there when they all back into the great hall. I need to think.

Neville's awesome, but that doesn't mean he can withstand Voldemort. And Kingsley is a grown full-trained Auror, he is stronger than Neville magically.

I don't think it looks corny at all. And as we know, Neville doesn't really get hurt from that because of Harry's protection.

Neville has the sorting hat. He pulls the sword from it, but i don't think there is any of him putting it on his head and it burning him or anything. It is just there so that he can pull the sword from it.

I guess they thought the burning head of Neville too shocking and came up with this action of Voldemort. Hmm don't know about it.

But I like it how they have given Hermione and Ron a moment (and Nagini).

I wonder how Neville gets the big bloody gash on the side of his head that we've seen in pictures?
