Re: What's the funniest item of HP merchandise you've seen?

I've been wondering about the HP scarf. Is that a Gryffindor scarf or did someone confuse HP and Where's Waldo?

I did like the fluffy Monster Book of Monsters.

Christmas Gifts!

I can't figure out where this might go, so I'm putting it here. I have a friend that loves the books and somewhat disliked the movies. Nonetheless, they are a die-hard fan, and requested something related to the books for Christmas. With the movies out, it's hard to find things that aren't movie related, and they have a lot of the book-things. Still, I'd welcome any reccommendations. I'd like to spend about $15 USD or less.

Thanks!

Re: Where to buy Harry Potter Merchandise

Where could I get a Harry Potter scarf? Preferably Gryffindor? Are the any stores that could be in malls that might have HP scarfs or would I have to order it online? Where do you think has the best scarf/price for one?

Re: Where to buy Harry Potter Merchandise

I've always bought HP stuff from wbshop.com or on ebay. I've never really seen things at regular stop but video games and other games at Toys-R-us or something. All the really cool stuff is at www.noblecollection.com

Yeah, I have this noble collections brochure that came with something I got and they have a Gryffindor scarf that's really nice but it's $65 and I don't have $65 right now to get it.

I didn't know if there were any other places that sell scarfs that look good and are comfortable but at a price lower than $65.

I saw on here that Hot Topic has some HP stuff. Does anyone know if they have HP scarfs? I tried looking on there website but not alot of HP stuff came up for me.

Wizard Cloak for Ren Faires

For lack of a better place to put this (Renaissance Faire related), anyone looking for an awesome wizard cloak might be interested in this one. I got one last year and love it. It's not exactly HP style, but well made and attractive nonetheless. It's also good for Halloween, of course.
(and no, I'm no affiliated with the mfg in any way )

Most of the larger Ren Faire supply sites carry this item, and prices vary but generally go for about $130, give or take $20 depending. Googling on "Wizard Cloak" and "right hand man" should yield the best results. ("right hand man" (in quotes!) is the most oft used description of this particular cloak)

Marauder's Map mug

Does anyone know where you can get the really cool Marauder's Map coffee mug that they have at the Exhibition? The one where you see the actual map appear when you pour hot liquid in it? Mine got damaged, andI love it, so I want to get another one, but the Exhibition has left my city.

Perhaps the exact T-shirt isn't available. Have you checked at WBshops.com? They have Gryff T-shirts.

Re: Where to buy Harry Potter Merchandise

What about Lego sets? I don't want Lego video games, but actual Lego brick sets. When the movies first came out, there were Lego sets, but I haven't found any lately. I have found a few HP jigsaw puzzles at a thrift shop. After putting them together, I passed them to my nephews. I also found at a thrift shop Harry and Ron on brooms trying to catch a flying key. It's made of plastic. I don't mind, I just didn't realise that there was any type of merchandise.

Re: Where to buy Harry Potter Merchandise

I have a Gryffindor cardigan that looks somewhat similar to that Gryffie jacket above. I got mine from Hot Topic as well, they really do have great HP merch. I have like 7 HP shirts from there haha.

When I was there in January 2008 FAO Schwarz in New York City had an entire room devoted to Harry Potter merchandise.

Does anyone know where I can buy a Ravenclaw scarf or tie that is blue and bronze and has an eagle? I really think the book colors look so much better.

Harry Potter Wall Art

Hi everyone! I found the most amazing site with Harry Potter wall art that you should check out! they have such unique motives and gorgeous products. I bought 3 wall decorations and they are all soooo beautiful!

One was a Sirius Black wanted poster, it looks just like from the movie!

The second was of Harry, he's almost as tall as me!

The third was a decoration with the great hall scene from PS where they are all throwing their hats up in the air. I've never seen it with such detail before, better than in the movie so check it out http://www.HarryPotterWallArt.com !

Places to Purchase HP stuff in Las Vegas Nevada

I am going on a family trip to Las Vegas, Nevada in April and I want to spend my time buying Harry Potter things (I am a collector, so this is a great passion of mine). I cannot find any places on the internet which list HP related shops in Vegas, so I was wondering if any of my fellow fans would know of any stores? Hot Topic, obviously, but surely there must be another place or two. Thanks very much for your help!
