In addition, you might try the WBshop.com...they currently show this item for just $19.99...a wonderful deal... and it appears to be IN STOCK.

Good Luck...and be careful with this critter.

Adios for now. Talk to ya on down the trail.

Thanks for the suggestions, WildOldDan! Sadly, I do not live near the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Also, on WBshop.com, it says that it is out of stock. Maybe between the time that you posted and I checked the site, someone bought the last one.

Thanks again. I guess I'll keep looking - I've already made it so that I'll receive emails from a few websites when it comes in stock. Also, maybe I'll be making a trip to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter sometime in the near future; the Monster Book of Monsters plush would be the perfect souvenir.

Re: Harry Potter Merchandise

@xhanax315 - Awe, I can't see your pictures...

1). What Harry Potter collectibles do you have?
Ginny's wand and the Time-turner from Noble, and a Slytherin hoodie from Hot Topic. Also some DIY ones like a quill pen and a lemon drop box.

2). Are you happy with the quality of the wands and other collectibles?
I don't really own that many. But sure, yeah.

3). How and Why did you start your collection?
It's just a way of getting closer to the books, for me (boring answer, I know)... Well, and the fact that my first collectible, the wand, was a New Year's present.

4). What's the next Harry Potter item you want to collect, if any? And why?
I want the McGonagall/Bellatrix/(unreleased) Snape bust from Gentle Giants. So much. They are absolutely amazing likenesses, I could spend days staring at one of them!

5). Do you have one item that stands out as your favorite Harry Potter
collectible?

I have so few! But I think that the gold-plated Time-turner is just beautiful.

Re: Harry Potter Merchandise

I live about 2 hours from Orlando but have no way to get there But I did contact Universal Customer Service to see if they would have an online store for people that can't get there and she said they won't have an actual online store but will have people you can contact so you can order things that you might have seen but didn't get. I'm trying to find the Platform 9 3/4 sign and she said that once the park opens that I may be able to purchase it (if they sold it) over the phone. If I find out more I'll let you know.

I've been to our local flea market and found quite a few HP toys...like Hagrid with Norbert and his pink umbrella. It was still new in the package and was only $5. I also found Griphook, I have him sitting on a gargoyle by my HP books. I can't spend too much on goodies, but I have found some really cool cake toppers like Harry pushing the cart with his trunk and Hedwig and one where he's playing Quidditch. Check with your local bakery, most will sell toppers if you ask or Google 'Harry Potter cake toppers' (I usually click on 'Images' so I can see what places have) You'd be surprised what's out there.

I've been wanting one of these since they came out. Is the WBShop really sold out? That sucks if they did, I should've bought one when I had the chance. Last time I had looked Amazon had it for $60! Or maybe it was more, but that was at the time WB had them.

Did you try looking through my profile and under my albums? That's happened before when others have tried to view them through a post.

If they're $60, I think I might just wait to go on vacation to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

*flicks through pages of Johnny Depp* Oh, WOW! That's a lot of posters!!

Speaking of which, I used to have 2 posters of Harry from CoS that I got out of a Russian magazine. One had blue eyes, one had green ones.)))

Re: Harry Potter Merchandise

Howdy Pards,

Well now, one bit of highly collectible merchandise from the World of Harry Potter...and, more specifically, Gringotts Bank, is MONEY!

For roughly thirty U.S. dollars you can own one gold plated GALLEON, one silver plated SICKLE, and one copper plated KNUT.

Are you one of the lucky ones who own this Wizarding World three coin set?

Is it worth the investment? Sure looks mighty fine...

Adios for now. Talk to ya on down the trail.

Howdy Pards,

The mention of Wizarding World money gets to the point of collecting Harry Potter stuff. I suppose it's the same reason we have always bought toys of our ol' superheroes and such. It's because we want to use our imagination...to hold in our hands a part of the magic. That's why we collect replicas of the wands and other things from the stories.

To my way of thinkin' anything that stimulates the imagination...brings a little joy and magic into our world. Is it any wonder that these kinds of things make us happy? I don't think so. Seems kinda natural to me.

Adios for now. Talk to ya on down the trail.

Wild Ol' Dan

Re: Harry Potter Merchandise

Okay, so we all know that the Noble Collection is releasing 40 new wands for Deathly Hallows. Now, it is time to speculate which ones will be released. What is your list?:

  1. Luna's Wand
  2. Ginny's Wand
  3. Scrimgeour's Wand
  4. Tonks's Wand
  5. Kingsley's Wand
  6. Molly's Wand
  7. Arthur's Wand
  8. Fleur's Wand
  9. Bill's Wand
  10. Mundungus's Wand
  11. Sprout's Wand
  12. Dean's Wand
  13. Seamus's Wand
  14. Lavender's Wand
  15. Flitwick's Wand
  16. Padma's Wand
  17. Parvati's Wand
  18. Wormtail's Wand
  19. Trelawney's Wand
  20. Amycus's Wand
  21. Alecto's Wand
  22. Yaxley's Wand
  23. Krum's Wand
  24. Crouch's Wand
  25. Cedric's Wand
  26. Krum's Wand
  27. Rowle's Wand
  28. Augusta's Wand
  29. Maxime's Wand
  30. Karkaroff's Wand
  31. Pomfrey's Wand
  32. Goyle's Wand
  33. Xeno's Wand
  34. Katie's Wand
  35. Percy's Wand
  36. Pansy's Wand
  37. Romilda's Wand
  38. Cormac's Wand

  40. Dolohov's Wand
I know some are a stretch, but it was hard to come up with 40!
What is your list?

The first 10 or so are very probable (alone with Xeno). I was real suprised when they said they were coming out with 40 wands. I mean, they've got a lot already, so they must be using a lot of minor character's wands. I've actually got Luna's and Ginny's and they're both pretty cool, though Luna's is just a shaft with flower patterns at the end.

Maybe James's and Lily's wands? We'll most likely see them in the Godric's Hollow flashback and we'll see their characters in the Forest Again.

I will be getting Luna and Ginny's soon in the Dumbledore's Army Wand Collection. I assume that is what you got.
I thought about putting them on the list, but they were never shown in the books or movies.
Anyone care to edit the list better, and maybe arrange it in order of probability?

Re: Harry Potter Merchandise

Forty wands? I think that's a bit much. I can see the main characters, but I'm not too thrilled about the minor character wands. The two I have are justing sitting on their display case gathering dust. However, I would like to purchase Dumbledore's wand, only because it's the Elder wand.

I realized I didn't put Percy on that list. I will switch him out with Leanne.

Maybe Charlie's wand? We might see a bit of him during the battle.

EDIT: Wait, I didn't realize Charlie wasn't cast. Nevermind!

I think he is, just as a cameo though.

Hi, I've been looking for this post for days because I knew someone was looking for it. I've found the Monster book of Monsters for sale at Amazon, the price is only $19.99! I hope this helps everyone that's looking for it
