Author Suggestions for Biweekly Discussions
This is a new phase of sorts for the Biweekly Book Threads where we shift our focus to discussing specific authors and their books. But before the discussions can begin, this thread will help us decide the authors we shall discuss.
1. Post the names of the three authors you'd like to discuss in this thread. 2. A poll of the most suggested authors will be made, where you can vote for only one author you'd like to discuss. 3. Depending on the number of suggestions, the number of authors with the most votes to be discussed will be decided by staff. The topics in the Biweekly Book Thread Topic Suggestions thread will be featured after these author discussions ![]()

Quote:
Mine would be: Martin Amis Agatha Christie Thomas Hardy (I want to say Enid Blyton, but I think that would exclude a lot of US readers. I'm also hovering on a lot of others!) |

Re: Author Suggestions for Biweekly Discussions
This is so weird - I nearly put Wilkie Collins and GK Chesterton on mine, but I didn't, partly because I thought no-one else would choose them and it would be a wasted vote.
