Hello! Hope I've done this right.

1. If you could spend a day with any Harry Potter character who would you choose and why?

Olivander. He has an extensive memory about everyone and I think some of his anecdotes would be absolutely fascinating. Plus, I'd love to see a wand being made, and gathering the materials for a wand beforehand. At the end of the day, I might even be able to see which wand I would get, which would be incredible!

2. Which Deathly Hallow would you choose?

The Elder Wand, if only to destroy it.


3. Which magical pet would you bring with you to Hogwarts?

A Siamese cat. They're elegant and sweet, and are known as one of the more intelligent and affectionate breeds of cat. I think they would make an excellent companion in the early hours of the morning as I do some studying


4. What would be your favorite subject at Hogwarts?

It's a toss-up between Transfiguration and Care of Magical Creatures, but the latter wins out. Though I would love to be able to do Transfiguration, I think it would be far too precise for me to be able to handle, much like science or maths. Care of Magical Creatures has the most in common with my own fields of study and I'd love nothing more than to experience some of the most wonderful creatures first-hand.


5. If you could ask J.K. Rowling to write one thing what would it be?

I think I'd love a detailed map of Hogwarts, with all of the secret passages and quirks pointed out and written about in detail.


6. Would you play Quidditch? If so which position?

I've never been good at sports, or fast-paced things in general, so I'd refrain from playing Quidditch. I can imagine enjoying liking flying as a leisurely activity, though, to see things from a different perspective.


7. Which magical career would you choose?

Probably a magizoologist, specialising in the behaviour and care of dragons (making me a dragonologist, I suppose!). Working in a foreign environment would be extremely fun, and though I'd get a few scratches and burns along the way, I would try to at least be diplomatic with the dragons! Following on from that, I'd enjoy breeding dragons as well, trying to breed a new species of miniature dragon that could be used as a house-pet that could eradicate common pests and so on.


8. What would your patronus be?

It would either be a seal or a black bear, but in the end, I think my bear qualities are more prominent. Though I'm playful and quite childish at times - as I imagine a seal to be - I'm also quite independent and rooted firmly to the ground. The bear and I could also hibernate together, so all would be good. (Would look more like a polar bear in patronus form, but... what can you do?)


9. Which magical place would you most like to visit?

Hogwarts, without a doubt! More specifically, exploring the grounds. As someone who frequently enjoys camping in wild country, I'd appreciate the scenery would want to spend a good few days hiking around all the nearby hills and forests, and having a swim in the lake. Would definitely go into the Forbidden Forest to try and catch a glimpse of a unicorn, but only if I had somebody with me :P
