1. If you could spend a day with any Harry Potter character who would you choose and why?
I would choose Professor McGonagall for a couple of reasons. First, she has a wealth of experience in a number of different areas, from working in the Ministry of Magic to her time in different capacities at Hogwarts. She would be able to answer pretty much any question that one had about the wizarding world. Secondly, she would be very likely to present her information in a factual, unbiased way as this is most definitely her personality. She is very fair, wise and intelligent. She would be a pleasure to talk to, and I would love to pick her brain for a day.

2. Which Deathly Hallow would you choose?
This is difficult for me, as while I believe that the dead should stay buried, I would have a difficult time turning down the opportunity to communicate with loved ones that have died or people in the past that I would love to ask questions about important parts of history. So while my heart says the Resurrection Stone, I guess my more level-headed brain says the Cloak, which could be put to good use without tampering with the afterworld. I have no interest in holding the Wand.

3. Which magical pet would you bring with you to Hogwarts?
I would choose a Kneazle if I was allowed, or at least a half-Kneazle like Crookshanks. I am a cat person to the core and would love a cat who is more than just a cat! If given only the traditional options of cat, owl and toad, of course I would choose a cat.

4. What would be your favorite subject at Hogwarts?
I wish Harry had taken Arithmancy or Ancient Runes, because either of those would be definitely be right up my alley, and I would like to have more information about these subjects. I would also love History of Magic (I am a history major at university) even though it is taught by the stultifyingly boring Professor Binns.

5. If you could ask J.K. Rowling to write one thing what would it be?
I am one of those that would love her to write more about Harry's world, even though she did a good job finishing his particular story. I would love to hear more about the generation before Harry, not necessarily the Mauraders alone but anything about that time period (First War).

6. Would you play Quidditch? If so which position?
I love sports but mostly from a spectator/stat-keeping perspective. I have played a lot of fantasy baseball and fantasy hockey, but the only sport I actually physically engage in is golf. So I would not be on the field, but I would love to keep stats for my house's team.

7. Which magical career would you choose?
Undoubtedly something in an administrative capacity. I like to organize and delegate. I would best fit in at the Ministry of Magic, probably either at the Wizengamot because of my interest in law, or some other capacity in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. I would like to think that if I was there some of the more draconian actions taken by these groups would not be repeated in the future.

8. What would your patronus be?
Undoubtedly some form of a great cat, but not a large, fierce one such as a tiger or lion. More like a snow leopard. That best fits my personality and my preference for colder climates.

9. Which magical place would you most like to visit?
Either the Ministry of Magic or Hogwarts.

10. Pick one house you would prefer not to be in. (Optional)
I am fairly open minded in this regard, but if I had to choose one that I do not believe fits me, it would be Gryffindor.
