Maurice Gee works

Any New-Zelanders here? Anyone heard of an author named Maurice Gee?

A couple of friends of my parents gave me some books of Maurice Gee.
They seem cool, although I haven't read any of them yet.

I have the folowing books: "Under the Mountain", "The Halfmen of O", "The Priests of Ferris" and "Motherstone", any reviews?

Edit: I'm sorry, I was looking for the Fiction boards.
