Well we don't actually know if thats in the film but I am hoping so because it was IMO the best Harry cheek on Snape of all.

I seriously hope they put this in the movie. That would be the best line ever!
Here's another. "Do you live here?"- Lockhart. This scene just cracks me up everytime I see it.

Re: Funniest lines in the films?

In GoF, Ginny has some of the best lines. She's really close to acting the same way that the Ginny in the books acts like (if that makes any sense).

"I think you're in love Ron." -After the QWC when Ron is talking about Krum.
"I'm not wearing that, it's ghastly." -When Ron shows her his dress robes.

Re: Funniest lines in the films?

I love when Ron wakes up mumbling about spiders and Harry tells em "You tell those spiders!"

Re: Funniest lines in the films?

"This is an odd sort of place, Do you live here?" Lockhart then Ron gets a rock and knocks him out. Brilliant.

"No, not you"-Harry
"He doesnt know what he's saying"- Lockhart

"I'm going to bed before one of you thinks of another clever way to get us killed - or worse, explelled." - Hermione
"She needs to get her priorities right" - Ron

"Oh, well, we are in trouble" - Filch
"Pull yourself together man! You're going into the forest afterall, gotta have your wits about you" - Filch (my sister used to do the funnest impression of that... we would crack up. brilliant)

"I was bit preoccupied with its heads! Or maybe you didn't notice. There were three!" - Ron

"Dads a muggle, mum's a witch. Bit of a nasty shock for him when he found out." - Seamus (probably not really that funny, but it made me laugh...)

"Why you wearing glasses?" -Malfoy
"Reading" Harry/Goyle
"Hm, I didnt know you could read." - Malfoy

"It'll have to be chopped" - Ron

Thats all I can think of for now - although anything that Lockhart says usually makes me laugh.

"Dumbledore's got style"
That has to be one of my favorite lines, so is half the stuff Snape says,

"Turn out your pockets!"

I like the part on POA where Ron wakes up at night saying "spiters, spiters, spiters want me to tap dance, I dont wanna tap dance".

Agreed. Those are the best.

And...

I hope there's pudding. That one never gets old

Re: Funniest lines in the films?

"Look at my wand!" and "Whats happening?" - Ron CoS (Its not really what he says, more how he says it.)

"Sorry, dozed off, what I miss?" - Lockhart

Re: Funniest lines in the films?

Can you describe them to me.

Well one was fat, and the other was skinny

Not the boys, the dementors.

I would like to remind you that the third floor corridor is forbidden to anyone who does not wish to die a most painful death.

Grip it tight, we don't want you sliding off the end.

Re: Funniest lines in the films?

"Troll in the dungeons, thought you ought to know" - The look on Malfoy's face cracks me up every time

I like all of Lockhart's lines after he gets his memory erased ("Do you live here? etc.").

And something along the lines of when Ron and McGonagall are dancing and she says "Put you hand on my waist" and he says "Where?!"
That's probably not the exact quote but its similar.

I know! His facial expression is priceless! So funny. The 'hmm' is the best bit.

I went to PoA with my little sister. She has lots of learning diasblities and was part of this group called ACE and once a month, the kids would get a free cinema ticket. It was so sweet cuz when Hermione punched Malfoy, the whole lot of them cheered! Yeah! Bless em.

"That felt good" hermione
"Good? that was bloody brilliant" - Rpn (or something to that effect...)

Re: Funniest lines in the films?

Riddle when his lovely diary of doom gets stabbed, his face just makes me want to go "has someone got a grumpy tummy?".

Also in GoF when Lucius thwacks Draco with his pimp cane "Don't boast Draco". and in CoS when he says "now now Draco, play nicely" again, attacking his only son with a heavy cane.
