Re: Toy Story 3
So excited. So excited. I just re-watched 1&2 yesterday, and they are certainly as good as I remember.

Re: Toy Story 3
I'll probably see Toy Story 3 but I'm a tad concern about the story line because it's written by someone who hasn't worked on the previous films. Example: 28 Weeks Later. The first one was awesome but I felt the second missed the mark & the continuity was lost.

Re: Toy Story 3
Comes out over here next month- I ACTUALLY can't wait
Thing is I was never a Toy Story fan until about three years ago...I'd only seen Toy Story once, and I saw Toy Story 2 for the first time three years ago. Strange cos I was 21 when I bought them both, but the first one came out when I was 13 I think (wasn't it 1999, summer? Just I was 14 in sept 1999, so I guess I was 13)

I saw it and loved it, they finished a great series brilliantly. I teared up at the end of it just really brilliant.

Re: Toy Story 3
Toy Story 3 is the best film I've seen in a long, long time, probably in my top 2 favorite Pixar films.
The story was so intricate yet it moved along seamlessly. There was a good balance between the humor intended for young kids and the humor intended for a mature audience (such as myself, jealous?). And when I wasn't laughing, I was tearing up and seating at the edge of my seat. The ending was captivating. You better all see it. |

Re: Toy Story 3
This film is outstanding. It tells the story of sticking together brilliantly. Ever get confused about Chekhov's Rule or Chekhov's Inverse Rule? Suffice it to say that both aspects claw their way to brilliant execution.
Finally, get out your dictionary and look up "poignant." Then get out a pen and add one more definition: Toy Story 3.

Re: Toy Story 3
Wow, do NOT underestimate Pixar. This is the most satisfying movie I've seen in quite a while: funny and moving in just the right mixture. There didn't seem to be any demand for a Toy Story 3, but now that it's here, this feels like a movie that simply should be. It's amazing to observe Pixar's track record; they clearly aim for greatness, and they achieve it every time.

Re: Toy Story 3
I saw Toy Story 3 the other day and really enjoyed it. I think they did a great job as usual, and I really liked the story line. Only thing I think could have been a little different was the ending and what Andy ended up doing with the toys. Overall though, I was completely satisfied and enjoyed the movie.

Re: Toy Story 3
I saw it yesterday. I had heard from a friend that it was worth seeing. I loved it! I ended up seeing it in 3D, simply because the showtime was more convienent for my schedule. I loved the first two, but this one actually made me cry a little. The ending, with what happens to the toys, made me think. I agree, it was the right combination of funny and sad...I am definitely buying this one!

Re: Toy Story 3
One word: Masterpiece.
The ending was amazing. Spoiler: show This movie had everything; humour, suspense, character development, emotion, etc. etc. I can gladly say this is the PERFECT trilogy.
