Go to JKRowling.com. Click on the eraser on her desk.

1. Click doorway in mirror to see Christmas tree.
2. Click on the top half of the door to get the wreath.
3. Click on the top of the mirror to get the garland.
4. Click on the spider web right next to the door to make them go away.
5. Click the 4th chime in the window and get the key for the door.
6. Drag key to unlock the door.
7. Door opens to show a desk with a package.
8. Click the bow on the package and it will open.
9. Click the inside of the package and a game of Hangman is shown where you can play a game to guess the name of the seventh book.
10. You can keep playing till you get it right and when you do a check mark will appear.

It all fits, given what happened to Harry's parents on the date mentioned in the title (if the title is reffering to what I believe it is).

Harry's parents died on Haloween (sp), and Hallows I believe is referring to Haloween. Deathly obviously means someone is gonna kick the bucket! I think on Haloween Harry will either meet his end or Voldie will meet his end, one way or another I am sure this has something to do with Haloween.

Ok Not the title in spoilers, just my theory on the what the title means.

Hallow - consecrate: render holy by means of religious rites

To be hallowed means to be holy - worthy of religious veneration; "the sacred name of Jesus"; "Jerusalem's hallowed soil".

Interesting - this is going to be fun!

Well, the dictionary doesn't list hallows as a noun. Here's what it does have for hallow:

hallow -verb (used with object)
1. to make holy; sanctify; consecrate.
2. to honor as holy; consider sacred; venerate: to hallow a battlefield.

Any ideas on what hallows might be?

Just for the moment, yes please I'd hate to think someone would click on this by accident or something and see it splashed all over the first page. Let's just give it a couple of hours and pages, then we'll let it relax a bit

hallow- hallo

This is the one I believe holds the most promise:

hallo 1. (used to call or answer someone, or to incite dogs in hunting.) 2. the cry "hallo!" 3. a shout of exultation 4. to call with a loud voice; shout; cry; as after hunting dogs 5. to incite or chase (something) with shouts and cries of "hallo!" 6. to cry "hallo" to (someone) 7. to shout (something)

I think it will have something to do with "deathly cries or shouts", as those from beyond the Veil.

That makes a lot of sense to me.

I must say the whole celtic connection to "hallows" is very interesting. If you take Hallow to mean "hello" then you've got deathly calls of greeting...spooky... and since Hallows is found in Hallow's Eve, ie Halloween, the night when the dead walk the earth "hallows" is another word for dead people walking...Inferi...and considering the last book the Inferi are pretty deadly. But it could also mean Harry could be getting advise from people who are dead but still powerful, like Sirius, Dumbledore, and not least, his mum and dad....

Certainly an interesting title! It could have many implications for the next book, although the consensus is that it has to do with Halloween. Have to admit though that the first thing I thought upon reading 'Deathly Hallows' is that it's not really as powerful a title as the other books in the series. It's kind of... whispery? I don't know, maybe it was designed that way!
