Re: Are we too old for Harry Potter?
I agree with many...never too old. I am listening to them on audio book now and it is as entertaining as it was the first time. It is funny all of the stuff you catch even after having read it so many times before.

Re: Are we too old for Harry Potter?
I just went back to the first posts on this thread and enjoyed reading some tweens telling how they were being told they were too old. Well, I'm 56 and really looking forward to seeing "Crimes of Grindelwald" with my 90 yr old mom. So there!
In general, people who Poo-poo kids lit without checking it out are narrowminded and depriving themselves of some real fun. I go to kids movies with a neighbor (also 56) because her boyfriend won't see anything rated less than R. I say, without lots of sex and violence, there have to be other attractions, like - oh how about "character development", and "plots", and beautiful effects. But what do I know? ; )
