They truely looked at me as if I was abnormal. Like I had no social life, no friends or anything. That's what I meant, the "virtual" social life seemed to have become the social life, period. At least that's how it felt from their comments. You have no facebook? You have no life. In short.

Just ignore people like that, it will drive you mad to try to understand them.

I kinda agree
I just told them, I email my friends, everyone gets their email on their phone anyway... and no one needs to know which movie I'm planning to see with who and when and if we'll have dinner together before that or whatever.

I'm perfectly fine with people having a FB really, I just don't like it when people judge you just for NOT having one.

I will... fortunately we'll be dispatched in different teams by the end of the month. Most of them get on my nerves.

Actually I might have heard of it, isn't it that thing where you write or take a photo or whatever and it's supposed to disappear a while later or something?

It's basically that. You send photos and choose how long the recipient can view them for - 1 second, 5 seconds, etc, and after that you can't see them any more. You can screenshot, though, if you're quick enough.

As soon as you've found out and sorted your accommodation, you can find your uni's freshers Facebook page or some variant of that and start meeting hall mates.

That first day is so much easier if you know/know of a few people. Baker's top tip #1 haha.
