Will you cry in the Half-Blood Prince movie?

Yes, same here. If I ever cry, it's because it happened in the book, I almost never cry in movies.

However, I do feel kinda sad for all those parts they always leave out

I am still angry with Warner Brothers though, which makes me reseantful for the movie almost.

i doubt it. it's been a while since i read the book, and i know what's coming. i'll be more interested in seeing how the writer/producer/director present the scenes that may bring tears to the eyes of others.

Only if we go out at some odd day and time in order to catch the specific screening that has the Descriptive Video Service for my wife and I miss the first 10 or 15 minutes of the movie trying to track down a theater employee to get the DVS to work correctly - again.

I doubt I will cry during the Half Blood Prince movie. I didn't cry when I was reading the book, so chances are that I won't for the movie.

Somehow Dumbledore's death did not effect me as much as the other characters deaths in Deathly Hallows. I don't know why that is; perhaps because it happend so fast, or perhaps that we always thought it was coming. I just don't know.

Sure, the movie will make me sad, but I'll just be happy that it finally came out and that I got to see it, instead of letting Dumbledore's death spoil my fun.

I did not cry when DD died, partly because I was expecting it because it was all part of the same hero's journey formula but also tbh I was really pressed to like Albus through this book so his death was kind of met with a FINALLY ! type feeling, which is sad because I loved his character in the other five books yet in this one I kind of thought he got a personality change. Kind of the same way I feel about Ginny and Tonks in HBP.

It's impossible for me to say just yet. I cried in the books, both for Dumbledore and for Sirius; but when watching the movies, I very rarely cry when Sirius goes through the veil. Sometimes, but it honestly depends what mood I'm in, and I definitely didn't cry on my first viewing. In some ways it's a shame we already know what's going to happen, because that kind of tragedy is always more striking the first time you experience it.

When I came home from the movies after seeing GoF, I just started bawling over Cedric. And he really wasn't a favorite character of mine.

With OotP....my memory is a bit fuzzy, but I think I was just sad. And he is one of my favorite characters. I think the movie didn't portray Sirius's death well. Hm..does that make sense?

Okay, now with Dumbledore. Well I'm just going to have to wait and see. Not sure about this, but thinking about it is making me want to cry.

If it's a bad death scene like in OotP when Sirius died, I might not.
But I certainly cried in GoF for Cedric.

Probably not for HBP.

At the end of the 7th film... I'll cry too. HP has been such a big part of my life.

I found this video, and have just about burst out crying, looking back at all the great scenes in the HP films.
