Harry Potter (obviously)
Lord of the Rings Bourne Identity The Holiday Stardust What Happens In Vegas Any Disney Classic (Aladdin, Beauty & the Beast, Cinderella, Lion King, Little Mermaid, Sleeping Beauty, etc.) The Incredibles The Italian Job Wimbledon There are many others that would gladly watch multiple times, but the ones listed above are movies that I could actually put in the DVD player, leave on repeat for 24 hours and never get bored (I've done this with several of them too ).

Out of Africa and The 13th Warrior, as different as they are. I'd choose the former for when I want to sob my heart out and the latter for surprisingly layered yet not too complex entertainment.
Also, Underworld, which is strangely addictive. The 1995 BBC adaptation of Pride and Prejudice is also on my list, even if that is not technically a movie.

Re: Movies you could watch over and over? v2
Quote:
I'm surprised at how often Titanic has cropped up on these lists as I've generally heard nothing but how much people hate it! I think it's a good movie, in fact I like it even more now, especially after watching the historical commentary on the 10th anniversary edition DVD - fascinating!I'm also surprised by how many people love Tinker, Tailor, Solider, Spy - it's the only movie I slept through while watching it in theaters because it was so slow and boring. Fifteen minutes into it and I was totally lost. ![]() Okay, my list: The Goonies (can't remember a time when I didn't watch this movie) Dirty Dancing (I learned to do the dance down the aisle when I was like 7! )'90's Disney features (I finally bought Lion Kind on DVD!) Pixar films including:
The 10th Kingdom (NBC miniseries - very cleverly written and engaging) Indiana Jones (Original three, not the Crystal Skull crude they're trying to pass off) Lord of the Rings (though I admit I think I've watched them too much) Jurrasic Park (awesome!) The Lost World (for sentimental reasons, not really because it's good) Titanic (be still, my 13-year-old heart... )Romeo + Juliette (be still, by 12-year-old heart... )Sense and Sensibility (1995 Emma Thompson version; mmm, Alan Rickman... )Dances with Wolves (let's all face facts, Avatar is just a remake of this movie)
