Re: Favorite Romance

Very few people will know this one.

Jude and Jing-Wei (AKA, Lizzie)

From the novel by Sherryl Jordan, The Hunting Of The Last Dragon. Such a beautiful story, and a romance which is so very realistic, unlike a lot of book romances which seem to be forced together all too quickly.

Re: Favorite Romance

First of all, yes I will jump on the Ron and Hermione train, they are just too cute together.

Then onward with the list:

Movies:
Joel and Clementine - Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind
Christian and Satine - Moulin rouge! (the most epic romance I was ever interested in XD, for me, this is a stretch, good thing it didn't end well)
Ben and Emily - Seven Pounds (Ben is just boss, a thoroughly good man whom bad things happen to... I want a Ben, not for what he did in the movie, but for the person he is)
And just to show I'm not all about the tragic endings:
Neil and Beth from He's just not that into you (though I thought the book was exponentially better, the movie was entertaining enough)

TV series:
Willow and Tara - Buffy The Vampire Slayer
Wesley and Fred - Angel
Ross and Rachel - Friends
Lily and Marshal - How I met your mother
Ned and Chuck - Pushing Daisies
Ally Mcbeal and Larry Paul - Ally Mcbeal

Games:
Squall and Rinoa - Final Fantasy VIII
Tidus and Yuna - Final Fantasy X
Ico an Yorda - Ico
Link and Zelda - Zelda Franchise
Guybrush Threepwood and Elaine Marley - Monkey Island

I must admit, though I read many books, not too many of those romances stick with me as particulary interesting. (barring the obvious ones that have already been named countless of times in this thread.)
Also, the best books I've read (besides HP oc) just don't have any notable romances...that, or the romances in those books aren't what made them particulary great...(Life of Pi, Murakami's works, works by Dutch/Belgian authors you wouldn't know)

Ah who am I kidding, I'm not much of a sap and if I am I usually like the tragic romances better
Gosh I hope my preference of great tragedies doesn't set Ron and Hermione on the path to eventuall doom and gloom. But at least we know they're safe for abt 19 yrs
