*facepalm* people it is the gryffindor common room, that is the gryffindor notice board well that is what i see it as, i will have to look at it again to see what scene and the film hang on a mo....

yes htat is what i am thinking. it is CoS, just after Hermione is Pertified, and the quidditch is cancelled. in the gryffindor common room and McGonagall tells them all the school might close.

and to be even more precise, the camera loks towards the notice board and at the studens gathered around it listening to McGongall, then we see McGonagall with a piece of parchement reading out the rules of what time they must returnt to their common room, and stuff. The she says the school will most likely to be closed, then she walks out, camera zooms in on oliver wood, lee jordan and percy, ron and harry then ginny who looks amusingly guilty then back to ron and harry again. yeah i think we have cracked it once again!!!!!

Ok I'm at a bit of a debate here, since sticky sort of said the right thing, I don't know if I should award it to her since she did point it in the right direction but didn't actually commit to the answer. Popcornzyum actually did chance a guess. So IYHO who should get the points?

ok, it is definately in the great hall i am thinking, i recognise the fireplace in the background.
it is the CoS, the duelling Club!!!! where snape and gileroy duel then harry and draco. it is that scene isn't it? all of the students are gathered around, there are a few older, witches and wizards that i think would be teachers int he background.
tell me if i'm wrong. this has been bugging me for ages now

I was thinking it was from GoF, too, right before Harry sees Sirius in the fire. But then you mentioned the Great Hall, and I started to think of that scene in PS when Harry is just sitting on a table, staring at the fire while everyone else is eating, after the Mirror of Erised scene. Mind you, I can't get the picture to enlarge, and I haven't seen the lovies recently, so I'm likely wrong.

You're right. It's just at the moment when Harry and Draco has turned their backs and taken their positions.
