Yeah I know, I worship friends but it's on several times a day every single day.
If it begins I can watch the beginning bit, tell you which episode it is, and recite it with the actors. I swear, I'm not kidding. That's how much I've seen it.
Now it's just like, ha ha, funny, can we watch something else please ?

I agree.. the girls on it are so spoilt. I watch it with my friends sometimes for a laugh because its funny how stuck up the girls are. When I watched it the other day the girl got a massive party, loads of presents, a two thousand pound dress and loads of other stuff and she started crying because she didn't get a car.. I used to watch it in the early days I have to admit.
But now, the soul purpose of the show is to provoke arguments, just for 'good tv' Why is it the nation is so taken with this sub-genre of reality tv, its such a worldwide phenomenon and all it really is is cruel, I dont know why anyone bothers entering any more, no one ever comes out being famous do they?

I think The Beauty and the Geek, the Age of Love and that wife-swapping show should be canceled on the grounds that they try to pass off their mindless drivel as something with meaning.

The Beauty and the Geek: Geeks and Beautys CAN stand to be in eachother's presence! OMG! Too bad they don't have them in romantic relationships, but I guess even the network execs aren't that daring.

The Age of Love: Age ain't nothing but a number! OMG! This is so wildly unrealistic that laughter is the only fitting response to it.

The wife-swapping show is just somehow morally wrong. I can't put my finger on it exactly, but somehow it just gives me the same feeling that polygamy does. I guess it has something do with the wife-swapping.

Anyway, what shows would you live to see canceled?

Im with you on these, I hate most reality shows, especially ones about finding Love, or dating, Also I think the Wife-Swapping is just stupid.

OH my gosh, I think most shows on MTV/VH1 are really shoddily put together. I admit I'll watch Made or the Top 20 Countdown, but most of the shows cause me to lose more brain cells than America's Funniest Home Videos.

For example, the things the rejected girls or guys say at the end of the shows (such as "Well I don't care, he sucks anyway") are so fakey, every show is the same...now I have 1985 stuck in my head *starts singing* and music still on MTV...

The suggestion about getting rid of your TV? Great idea...but I'd need to keep watching a few shows that I actually like...maybe we can work for TV stations and throw out all the cruddy shows.

Nearly all the "reality" shows (what a silly name, really...most of them are nowhere near reality). Except the American Idol auditions, I think those are hilarious, highly entertaining. And I think On The Lot is worthwhile. The rest of them are a total waste, in my opinion.

Pretty much all reality shows. I don't know who is watching these but someone must be because they just keep dishing out more and more ridiculous stuff to put on TV. That Pussycat Doll show was on tonight here in New Zealand. I promptly changed the channel. I've never actually watched it but I can imagine it is terrible.

Like people have said, every reality TV show. They're so incredibly stupid. I've lost nearly all interest in Television, because each station has become worse and worse - even the freakin' Discover Channel!

Much Music, which is like a Canadian MTV, has become the new MTV here... it's absolutely horrid. The music is **** - but the gold here is that they hardly ever play music anymore, anyways, because all they do it play MTV shows, or play reruns of the OC. Who honestly cares? I miss the days of the Wedge, where I first heard about Muse, my favourite band of all time, where they had interesting interviews with GOOD artists... now all they talk about is garbage.

So most of TV should just be cancelled. THere are a few good shows left, but they're so few and far between that watching TV isn't worth it anymore.

wow, a good thread. there are sooooo many shows that i would loooove to be cancelled, but i'll just put a few.

What happened to the music channels that played, i don't know, music?? Like MTV, most of it is reality shows (*shudder*). It's all filled up with stuff like 'My Super Sweet 16,' all about a bunch of rich whiny girls who think that the world revolves around them. can't stand them (oh daddy, it's only $20,000's!!!! Please). I just want to see a channel that plays ONLY music videos. (there used to be one, where they always showed that irratating commercial on yoga every 10 music videos, i didn't mind that because it was the ONLY thing they had on there besides music videos).

Also, i can't watch any good music anymoere if there was, by luck, a show for music videos, it's all rap or hip hop. I'm not a big fan of that. More variety please?

MY friend loves reality shows, i respect that, everyone has different things they like, but i can't stand reality shows. I have enought reality in my life to sit there and watch someone elses.

Everything on MTV- Remember the 90's, when Music Television had... what's the word... music? Now its all ****. Whoever came up with the idea for "The Real World" should be shot, yet it is ALWAYS on. I'll mail $50 to anybody who can give a single example of something real on that show.

American Idol- It's a good concept and had its run, but its getting old now. Unfortunately, the only way to revive a declining show is to give it an overhaul, but that would destroy everything that made AI a decent show to begin with.

Fear Factor- I think it actually did get canceled, because I haven't seen it in a while. Stupid idea from show 1. How is eating worms scary?

Big Brother- Has been dumb from the start.

The Bachelor/ette- See Big Brother. Have any of those relationships actually lasted more than 6 months after filming?

Sunday Night Football- Don't cancel it, but get rid of John Madden aka Captain Obvious. "If you score more points than the other team, you have a much better shot at winning the game."

America's Next Top Model- A bunch of hoars glamorizing the life of a hoar.

Deal or No Deal- Every episode is exactly the same. I do enjoy watching the stupid people win only $10 because they didn't stop when any reasonable person would have.

The Price is Right- I do like Drew Carey, but the show won't last more than a season without Bob Barker.

I can't agree more!! All those shows are a gigantic waste of time and make me want to barf!

Also, I can't stand Soap Operas (no offense to any fans of those shows) -- they're all WAY too overly melodramatic for me .

And I don't like all of those (not really a show persay) infomercials that are shown on tv. "Buy this -- buy that..." ENOUGH ALREADY !! Can't you see that I'm not interesting in buying your junk!!
