I pictured Albus as a mini-Dumbledore, James as a mini James, Lily as a mini-Lily. You get the idea.

Lily: 9yrs old (can go to HW in 2 yrs), with red hair and hazel eyes and fairly tall for her age.

Albus: 11yrs old (1st yr @ HW) Looks just like Harry minus the scar. Black messy hair, green eyes. Albus seems more fearful though. His personality is more uncertain, possibly this will lead to being placed in a different house.

James: 12yrs old (2nd yr @ HW) Red hair, brown eyes, and a teasing sense of humor. I would see him more like a mini-Ron, except slightly more cocky like his namesake.

Rose: 11yrs old (1st yr @ HW) It was said she had brand-new robes. She wll have the Weasey red hair, but it will be all bushy like her mom's. Weasleys tend to run tall so I believe this will apply to Rose. Ron mentions her having Hermoine's brains, so I believe Her and Albus will turn up in Ravenclaw.

Hugo: 9 maybe 10yrs (talking to Lily about when they get to go to HW) Will have the Weasley red hair and height and brown or blue eyes.

Victoire: 17yrs (Last yr @ HW) Long platinum blonde hair and bright blue eyes like her mom and her father's intelligence.

Teddy: 20yrs old and with his mother's ability to transform his looks. When he is not transforming he would look much like his father with blonde hair, large nose, and sterdy chin. He works in the Auror's office with his godfather Harry. That and family visits is why Harry feels like Teddy already lives with him.

Fred: younger than 11yr because he was not yet on platform 9 3/4 and he looks just like his father and his namesake. Tall, red hair, freckles, and a nose for trouble.

Scorpious: 11 yrs old blonde hair blue eyes just like his father.

Like Lilydreamson, I'm much more curious about their personalities, but here's my humble opinion:

James: Rougish brown eyes and untidy red hair, perhaps slightly darker than Ginny's. Kind of like another Weasley twin with a taste for mischief, but with a hint of his namesake's arrogance. Has inherited both his parents' tendencies towards rule-breaking. Definitely a Gryffindor. I see him as a likely candidate for the Quidditch team as well.

Lily: A miniature version of Ginny in looks, although I can see her sharing a lot of personality traits with Lily, as Harry's deeper nature is 'much more like his mother's'. I can see her as being very caring and sensitive, although with a hint of her mother's temper when roused.

Albus: Basically, like Harry in looks and nature. Very small and skinny like Harry was. Quieter, more sensitive and a deeper thinker than James. I can see him and Lily having a very close bond, as he wouldn't tease her as James probably does. His house is really up for grabs, although it would be interesting if he was sorted into Slytherin.

Rose: I don't think red hair is a particularly dominant gene (in the Weasley family it was only because it came from BOTH parents) so I see Rose as having hair more of a ruddy brown colour and her mother's brown eyes (which I think are a dominant gene). I also think she'll be quite tall, having inherited Ron's height, with just a few freckles. Personality-wise, I can see her as being a mini Hermione, with her mum's brains.

Hugo: Again, most likely brown hair and eyes. For some reason, I see him also as very freckled. A bit more like Ron in nature, I can see his sister bossing him around. Probably somewhat idolises James. Another one I can see as a likely Gryffindor (Ron would be relieved.)

Teddy: I love the idea of his being like Sirius. I think he'll have inherited Tonks's lack of the 'ability to behave herself' and Lupin's open, friendly nature.

Victoire: Definitely like Fleur in looks, although I think she'd be a little less prim. I can see her as having Bill's sense of humour. Although would most likely have a fiery Veela temper.

Scorpious: Platinum blond hair and grey eyes, pale skin like his father's. As for his personality, I posted something on the Rose/Scorpius thread that seems to fit rather well.

This is how I picture them-

James- Black, messy hair with brown eyes. a trouble-maker and with a bit of his grandfathers arrogance. Gryffindor, chaser!
Albus- Messy, black hair. Green eyes, Like Harry but more quite. Gryffindor, but the hat wanted him in slytherin so he had to ask to be in gryffindor
Lily- Mini-Ginny but with her grandfather's hazel eyes, With Ginny's temper but also very caring.Gryffindor, seeker like her dad.
Hugo- Red hair, brown eyes. Alot like Ron. Gryffindor.
Rose- Mini-Hermione but with blue eyes and her hair more auburn kinda and hermione's personality. Gryffindor.
Teddy- Chooses his looks but has his fathers personality, maybe a bit clumsy like Tonks.Hufflepuff (like tonks) and then in auror department working under harry.
Victoire- Mini-Fleur, but very intelligent like her dad. Possibly sometimes slightly snobby like fleur could sometimes be.ravenclaw

I think that pretty much everyone has agreed, for the most part, on the next-generation character's appearances. There is only one thing I disagree about; Rose's hair. Somehow, I think that she will have red hair (red, nor reddish-brown!) and it will be curly, but it won't be as busy as her mothers. I think that the 'Straight' and the 'Curly' genes will meet somewhere in the middle. That's just how I see it in my head.

I see James and Albus both looking almost exactly like Harry, James having black hair and brown eyes, however.

Then there's Lily... I picture her almost exactly like Ginny, with red flaming hair and chocolate brown eyes.

Rose Weasley - I would describe her as having hazel eyes and curly brown hair. I don't think she has reddish hair at all. I'm not sure why, but that's just how I picture her... a little like Emma Watson.

I described Scorpius as having white-blonde hair and grey eyes. Mostly like his father.

If you read the Epilogue carefully we know about Harry's kids except James' hair.
1) Lily has red hair
2) Albus is the only one of the children to have Harry's green eyes.
3) Albus greatly resembles Harry.
This combined with the fact that Ginny has brown eyes leads to the conclusion that;
1) James has brown eyes, hair not mentioned, but I imagine black like Harry's.
2) Albus looks just like Harry and has black hair and green eyes.
3) Lily has red hair and brown eyes, I imagine she looks like Ginny.

We are not told what Rose and Hugo look like but I see them both as red-heads, Rose with her mother's brown eyes and Hugo with his father's blue ones.
Scorpius is said to resemble Draco in the same way Albus resembles Harry.

I've decided that Teddy gets the best of everything from his parents, both in looks and personality. Remus' hair color, but with his mother's preference for brighter hues. Tall, thin, dark-eyed, with a face that is combination of his parents'. Of course, that's only in his 'natural' state, but I'd imagine he sticks to it most of the time.

I can't seem to separate James Potter from James Potter, so ... Maybe Harry's son looks more like Ginny, but with James 1's coloring.

Albus = Harry, obviously.

Lily is very like her mother.

Rose, too, seems too much like eleven-year-old Hermione to imagine her looking much different. Maybe with Ron's hair and eye color.

Hugo is definitely a combination of the two. Lacks the Weasley hair, and is one of those kids you could stand next to either parent and looks just like them.

Victoire's veela-ishness is probably diluted enough that her hair is more of a red-gold than silver, but otherwise she's very like her mother.

*James (13): I picture James as looking a lot like his father and namesake but with his mother's golden brown eyes and maybe a spatter of freckles across the nose and cheeks. I think he would look mostly like Harry though, it just seems to fit.

*Albus (11): Obviously it's key that he has Harry's eyes, and his grandmother's, and I imagine he's pretty much the spitting image of his father just like his grandfather before him. I think he would have Ginny's stature though, thin and small. Harry was really tall and skinny but Al seems like he would be a tiny kid.

*Lily (9): I think she would look a lot like them both, the kind where it depends who she's standing next to. She would seem at first to be Ginny's spitting image but maybe have Harry's nose or mouth or something. Also, for some reason, I don't picture with freckles. Hm. Oh yeah and she would have blue eyes for some reason.

Ron/Hermione's kids
*Rose: I picture her with cute pudgey cheeks and freckles galore and (for reasons unknown) a sandy blonde hair color. Brown eyes.

*Hugo: Hugo seems to me like he would end up with Ron's frame: long and lankly. In my mind he has the Weasley freckles like his sister but brown hair (don't ask me why their kids don't have red hair, that's just how it happened in my mind). Ron's soft blue eyes, a sort of stormy sky blue-grey, not vividly blue.


Eh, I'll throw Scorpius in the mix to--why not?

Draco/Unkown:
*Scorpious: To me, this kid is small and skinny with pale white skin and deeply black hair. I picture him. I like to think he breaks the Malfoy hate-chain and when I picture him I see a little, shy boy with a name that overpowers his tiny little frame. I also see his eyes as startlingly electric blue.

Albus Looks like Harry did at his age, black hair and green eyes. The only differences would be that I see Al as being a little heavier and a little taller than his dad was at that age since he was actually fed. Also? No glasses.

James I like to imagine him having dark red hair (like Grandma Lily), brown eyes, freckles and glasses. He'd be tall for his age (Weasley genes) and more solidly built (again, Weasley genes).

Lily Fiery red hair (like Mom), brown eyes and no freckles. She'd also be fairly tall for her age. I'm not sure if she wears glasses or not.

Rose Another tall one. (Oh, those Weasleys!) Bushy red hair (that turns auburn as she gets older), blue eyes, freckles (but she can tan too, like Hermione) and I think she also wears glasses. (Arthur and Percy did! And Hermione's parents may also as well, I'd have to check.) She also would have inherited the unfortunate buckteeth but Hermione let her get those magically fixed before she went off to school.

Hugo Another tall one. Skinny too. I see him as having curly brown hair, brown eyes and skin that tans easily with some freckles. He still has the buckteeth but will also get them fixed when it's time to go to Hogwarts.

Teddy Well, this changes. His "natural" look would be light brown hair (like his dad), blue eyes (like I think his mom would have) and a heart-shaped face. He's pale, lanky and a little taller than average. In morphin' mode, he tends to favor a look that's a little more chiseled and turquoise hair.

Victoire Tall, willowy, with strawberry blonde hair, freckles, blue eyes and her mother's delicate features.

Scorpius Pale with silvery blonde hair and pointed features. Though not quite as pointy as Draco's were. I imagine him as being about average height or a little taller than that and slender. I like to think that he has his mother's eyes, which are a warm blue-green color.

I have this weird thing where I picture them in my head as certain people, celebrities or models usually. It's because I RP and read fanfics, so I always think of faces to match the characters, that way I can watch the scenes play out in my head. That's probably why I don't picture them as kids, I see them in grown-up versions...

With Lily, at first I pictured her as a raven-haired girl with brown eyes like her mum, but then I re-read the epilogue and forced myself to picture her differently... I don't picture her as being freckly like Ginny, but she'd have her build. Basically, she'd look like her namesake, only with brown eyes.

As for Albus, I picture him as a mini-Harry, only a little bit more stocky due to Ginny's build. Porcelain skin, Harry' eyes, once again no freckles. Either way, I think he'd be a cutie, just because he seems like such a sweet kid in the epilogue.

James... I kind of think of him as looking exactly like Albus, only taller, thinner, and with brown eyes... so basically like James Potter Snr. For some reason, I don't think of any of Harry's offspring as having to wear glasses.

Hugo, I think of as inheriting his mother's brown hair and eyes... or maybe blue eyes, I can't decide. I see more of Hermione in him than Ron, though he'd be as tall as Ron.

Rose! One of my next-gen favourites. I think of her as a lot like her father, red hair (perhaps a deeper red than Ron) and freckles, pale. Tall, but not 'gangling' like Ron is described as. I personally like this picture of Cintia Dicker for her:



Scorpius, my other favourite... a spitting image of his father, without a doubt. Tall, skinny, pale, slightly pointed features, only perhaps with eyes more blue than grey. For some reason I thought of him as having brown eyes, first off... probably because I first thought of Pansy as his mother before I decided against it. Either way, I've always thought of Boyd Holbrook as being a good representation...



Actually, I was looking for pics of him for a Rose / Scorpius sig, so I went to his website and I found one of him and Cintia (the girl I think of as Rose)... score! So yeah, those two are pretty much fixed images in my head.

Yeah, I like to think so too. With JKR saying that he's an improvement on his father, I don't think we're too far off the mark... I don't imagine him as shy though, judging by how cocky Draco was when we first saw him in PS... I don't think modesty is in Malfoy blood. The Rose / Scorpius shipper in me also thinks of him as rebellious, with a bit of a sharp tongue (just judging by the name).

Teddy... difficult one there. I thought of him as sandy-haired like Remus was when he was younger, but JKR said he was a metamorphmagus... which pretty much threw any guess I made about him out the window. In other words, I can't picture him... he would be tall, though, and probably with a wolfish grin.

Victoire, I don't have a picture of her in mind, but as a few people before have said, I think of her as having strawberry blonde hair, probably blue eyes. Although the veela blood would be a bit diluted by now, I think she'd be very pretty.

Scorpius: The Epiloge said he was practically his father's mini-me.

Teddy: He'd be tall, with bright green-coloured hair and Tonks's grey eyes.

That is pretty much how I imagined them with the exception of James. I imagined him like a mini version of the original James Potter. I never really thought about him having red hair. When reading the Epilogue it was hard to create these new images of the characters. I kept imagining them as just mini versions of the person they were named after.

Yeah, that's how I pictured him first, too. I still do, actually, but ... since I imagine Albut as a mini-Harry, and Harry is already a mini-James (but all grown up now!), it just doesn't make sense to me to have two mini-Harrys. So I decided that James should have the Weasley-red hair, although I don't actually see him that way in my head! Yeah, I'm weird...
