Re: The Actor's Thread...
awesome not a human.
and yes Happy Acting!GAH! I'm practically out of school and do my english course at home, and when I leave they decide to do an open call for Grease! -_-...I probably shouldn't be sulky about it, I'm not the best singer and I can't dance if my life depended on it. But still they now decide to let the whole school try out for stuff.

Re: The Actor's Thread...
I'm so glad that the Heiress is over. It was fun and everything, but with that and all my classes I was so stressed out! Anyway, I wish I was good at singing and dancing so I could do musicals
Oh well, we can't have everything! ![]()

Re: The Actor's Thread...
If you want to do a musical so bad then practice singing and dancing. Practice makes perfect.

Re: The Actor's Thread...
ACTING IS MY LIFE.
Well, I'm not doing anything besides church and school stuff, because of my parents not approving of spending money on classes, but I am seriously in LOVE with it!! I know for a fact that acting is what I'm going to be doing for the rest of my life. I love it soo much! Just the thought of abandoning yourself to take on another persona gives me excited chills! I'm seriously a theatre geek, I've probably read all the books on theatre there are out there! It's sooo much fun! I'm more of a dramatic actress though. I can do comedy and throughly enjoy it, but I get the highest high from doing dramatic acting, such as shakespeare or really emotionally riveting things. I wish I could do some films, I've done a few commericals, but I honestly have no clue how to act on screen. I need to take some classes on acting on film, but we come back to the original problem. I'm young though and content with going through the school drama program, majoring in theatre in college, perhaps going to a drama school after that, and seeing what happens then. After all, rarely child stars make it to stardom in adulthood, and then the business wants fresh faces for the movies.

Re: The Actor's Thread...
Yay, I just found out I'm going to be Paris from Romeo and Juliet this upcoming summer.
![]() This is going to be a challenge for me, my drama teacher usually gives me the most girlish, *****y roles, and now I'll have to be a convincing man, oh ****. ![]() But I'm excited and willing to take on that challenge, especially since I'm the only teenager in a professional cast.

Re: The Actor's Thread...
I haven't done much besides church and school stuff, but I really do enjoy acting. I never liked it much before, but after my most recent play, I'm hooked! I hope I would get into theatre one day.

Re: The Actor's Thread...
I love to act. I think I am fairly good.
I have taken a class at an actors guild in my community. I've auditioned at my school, but the teacher had favorites, and I never got a part, because they all got parts. Stupid favoritism's that teachers have. I want to do some community theater, but I have no transportation to get there.

Re: The Actor's Thread...
8D Oh God, yay!
THESPIANS. I'm fairly new to the theatre world, but I'm addicted for sure. I've been in three of my school's plays, two of which were One-Act Festivals and the other being "A Midsummer Night's Dream". The funny thing about that was that my director had to re-write the entire script; we had four guys. So I ended up playing the female counterpart of Bottom, and it was the best part of my young life. xD

Acting! Oh I think I've found my home on CoS
![]() I love acting Just finished a youth theatre revue that we've been practicing for weeks - it was meant to be done back in April, but it had to be postponed because I ended up on crutches the week before the show ![]() And last month we did a show in three venues, a play called "Raising The Roof". I had to play Rose, the "thick but attractive" maid who falls for the vicar's famous actor brother. First ever kissing scenes... and under the table scenes... and other innuendo scenes. Wouldn't have been to bad if the guy playing the actor brother wasn't one of my best friends, who is 10 years older than me and the closest thing to a big brother I have we had a laugh. Not long now until panto season! (Oh yes it is )
