Here you find I, Sapphiregoddess, attempting to write a fanfiction that will be a success.
The story is based on Lily and James Potter (Harry Potter's Mother and Father), but it is the next generation. That is all I shall say, no less and no more.

In an old house in Paris that was-hang on, wrong story!

Chapter One-Impossibly but Undeniably True

The girl was of an average height, her hair had been released from it's usual tight bun. It fell down to her waist,it was a very dark brown and extremely wavy. Her eyes were wide, hazel and full of curiosity.
She wore a white, long sleeved top with a light blue jacket on top. Covering her bottom half was a darker blue skirt with caramel ugg boots.

The girl was pushing a luggage cart which contained her very large trunk and black and white owl, Barty. Inside her pocket was her Holly and Unicorn Hair, 12 inches wand and a small badge.

The girl seemed very happy, she looked eager to find someone as her head turned this way and that. A finger tapped on her shoulder. She turned and smiled widely. Her best friend Laura was slightly taller then her. She had shoulder length, chestnut brown hair and deep blue eyes.
"Sophie Martin, I could barely recognise you with that hair of yours out like that!"
Sophie laughed and hugged her friend. "Oh really? I think you were just a little too captivated in that Hufflepuff boy over there, Laura Mitchell." She said looking over at a tall seventh year. Laura rolled her eyes. "In case you don't know or have temporary amnesia, I have a boyfriend already." Said Laura in a matter-of-fact voice. She suddenly smacked her head with her hand.
"I completely forgot! What was the important news you had to tell me?" Sophie smiled.
"I...am...the...new...-"
"Spit it out already!" Snapped Laura jokingly.
"HEAD GIRL!"
Sophie waited for her best friends reaction. "OH MY GOD!" Shouted Laura. "I can't believe it. Well actually I can." The two girls laughed and hugged each other once more.
"Shall we find a compartment?" Asked Sophie. "I'm sure Eloise and Harriet will find us." Laura nodded and together the girls began lifting their luggage onto the Hogwarts express.
Sophie made her way down the corridor, searching for an empty compartment. Laura had momentarily left her to say hi to her boyfriend, a 7th year Ravenclaw named William Corbal.
Sophie found an empty compartment and settled herself at the end of the seat near the window. Ten minutes later, Laura, Eloise and Harriet entered the compartment. Eloise's hair reached the middle of her back, it was a blonde-brown colour. Her eyes were a chocolate brown. Harriet had shoulder length red hair which was very curly. Her eyes were a light shade of green with a hint of purple. The four Gryffindor girls greeted one another then settled themselves down.
"I can't believe your head girl!" Said Eloise excitedly.
"That's strange coming from the most gullable girl I know." Said Laura jokingly. The four girls laughed. Harriet only giggled, she was very shy and spoke very well but very little.
"I think it's a real a achievement, i'm very proud." Said Harriet softly. "I think you're meant to go and sit in the head compartment though, and then once you've met the head boy you should be patrolling the corridors." Sophie raised her eyebrows, she had completely forgotten. It was her biggest personality problem, she was the most forgetful person.
"I completely forgot! Thankyou Harriet." Sophie said. "I better go and get oragnised then, and i'll pop in later for a chat. We have so much to catch up on."
Sophie jumped out of her seat and picked up her owls cage then waved goodbye to her friends. As she closed the compartment door she heard Eloise ask Harriet "How come you know all about this?"

Sophie felt a little guilty about getting head girl as she knew Harriet really wanted this role. Sophie thought about all the important jobs she would have to do with the head boy, this was going to be a challenge. Sophie slid open the Head compartment door and looked around. It wasn't much different to any other compartment although it did seem a bit bigger. Apparently the new head boy had not arrived yet. She settled herself down in the seat and placed her owl next to her. It was another ten minutes before the door slid open. This was it, who was the new Head Boy?
A tall Gryffindor boy with very messy black hair and blue eyes appeared before her.
A huge satisfied smile spread across his face. "Well, well, well. I think i've just hit the jackpot.
Oh no, thought Sophie.
It was James Potter.
