I thought killing Nikki and bringing in Tracy was kind of a way to get rid of Micah as a regular character. I mean, at first Tracy was this powerful career woman, but as soon as she found out about her power, she lost it. She is now practically the same as Nikki--freaked out about her power, going to extremes instead of dealing with it, hooking up with Nathan--only she doesn't have Micah to worry about. To me, Nikki was only interesting when she was Jessica. If Tracy keeps going like she is, she'll be a waste of a character. And I like Micah. Don't care much about Monica, but I feel sad for Micah.

I thought about it as well, but then why would Noah call him daddy, when it was himself just made younger. To convince strangers yes, but it was Peter there. Or maybe his memories were altered too. OK I think that's plausible.

That's exactly what I was wondering about. His son looked nearly four, but how could that be since the eppy was four years in the future? Now we may have an answer.

Interesting. And completely weird that Sylar could be changing HRG's diapers. Why would Sylar care that much for a little HRG? Enough to force himself to control his power and become Gabriel?
But anyway, it simplifies the kid's age issue.

This show is getting so convoluted now that is not even enjoyable to watch. I just can't get into it. I thought it started well but they seem to be trying too hard to make it big.

Yea that was a doozey of an episode lots of information. I think mohinder is actually turning into a snake not a fly. All that hissing and rattling and then his skin started looking like scales. So we shall see where that goes. I also think that the sylar being good thing was really odd. And im having a really hard time determining who is the good group in the future and who is the bad (which i think is what they want) And why did future peter die? He has the ability to regenerate, and he only took a few bullets so why is he dead? And OMG when they dug up Adam and he came back to life at the end.... look out. Im so excited for next week.

I was wondering that too. Future!Claire said that a bullet to the back of the head would kill him, but I thought that only decapitating him would do the trick.

Regarding Sylar's son, I don't think that he is the HRG-Noah (because Sylar appears younger than HRG-Noah, at least to me), but I do think that he may have named his son Noah after Claire's father, because it's possible that they continued working together as partners in that future. And I'm really curious to know who the mother is.

Somewhat OT but I had an awesome dream last night relating to Heroes. I had the power to fly. I was being chased by these people and everything and used my flying power to escape them. Damn it was the best.

And I bet that it is really Sylar's kid and the mother is actually Elle.

That would probably fit with the bizarro horrible contortions the world fit into in that future. I absolutely LOATHE this season--it's not that it's necessarily poorly written, or that they've written themselves off a cliff, but they made a concerted effort to undermine our faith in, respect for, and affection towards all the heroes we rooted for over the past two seasons. Nikki's dead. Claire's compromised and on her way to becoming an unfeeling monster. Mohinder's hubris is galling. Peter has become everything he fought against--even present Peter who isn't quite so much of an unconscionable idiot as his "future self." Hiro has become too grating for me ever to believe that he is the key to setting things right again. So that just leaves Gabriel Gray, whose kind puppydog papa self I just can't get behind. I've yet to see anything worthwhile in Speedfreak to make me believe that her family situation is worth fighting for, let alone saving. However, mostly, I can't believe our choice is between Lady Macbeth (Mama Petrelli) and Iago (Papa Petrelli). I was looking forward to having an actual hero to root for, someone who could foil Angela, put her in her place, save the world--mentor Elle and Claire. That person no longer exists. All I'm left with is Noah, struggling mightily against the storm-tossed seas of fate--trying to save the daughter he adores, who is learning to hate him. That's just awful. They've done more to destroy the series in these last handful of episodes than they did in all of Season 2. And don't get me started on the idea that Nikki, Micah, Nathan and Peter are manufactured heroes instead of born heroes.

Hey Jordmund, nice to see you here. Now that you put it like that, I have to agree with you. I felt something wrong in the first episode. It was just too dark. Some malicious undercurrent. And now we can see why. Everyone is turning dark and the good are being left behind and forgotten i.e. Micah and his cousin. Even Ando is supposed to end up dark. No one likes an all dark show.

I am really hoping Hiro is planning to go back and save Ando because if not that was 100% out of character and IMO if he goes bad then they completely RUINED the character. If he does go bad, I hope somehow future Ando electrocutes him to death.

There's no way that Hiro won't save Ando. He's got the purest heart of any of the characters.

But it looks like Maya is already dead...thank goodness. I was going to scream if she came in with one more skanky outfit with her and Insect man's forced chemistry. Ugh!
But hey are bringing in too many characters and it could get sloppy trying to keep up with them all. Oh wait. It already has gotten sloppy. Well, it's just going to get sloppier still.
Good to see Sylar trying to redeem himself. After all, it doesn't happen overnight...heehee. And nice to see that Claire is still a little girl after all.
Great to see Mrs. Petrelli finally showing a weak side. I actually liked it when Peter turned on her. Altering her own son. Sick.
I like Adam. Too bad he's just a guest star.

I actually like the guy tonight who created the black holes. I was really disappointed that they killed him off. I'd rather have him on the show than Mohinder and Maya. Good god.

Yeah, that roach was interesting. But in season 1 it represented Sylar, so I'm not sure what it was doing there. Unless they're telling us that Mohinder is the new big bad of this season. After tonight's eppy and the next preview, that seems possible (I mean, aside from Papa Petrelli).

Anything in their brains would prevent them from regenerating, like when Claire got that branch in her head or Peter got that glass shard in his head--neither could regenerate until it was removed. I'm guessing a bullet would be the same.

I don't know why future Peter died. Was the Haitain there, preventing him from regenerating? That's the only explanation I can think of, (other than him getting shot in the head, but I didn't see any wound there) but I don't remember if he was there or not.

As for tonight's eppy . . . I loved it. I loved the confrontation between Peter, Sylar, and Angela. And Mohinder seems to be not fly, roach, or snake, but spider! Poor little flies! Glad Maya's now one of them.

At least we now know that Linderman isn't just Nathan going insane. And if Angela and the Nightmare Man are terrified of Papa Petrelli, then I can't wait to see what he's all about. The whole Nathan/Tracy storyline kind of bores me, but it's an interesting little twist that Nathan's powers are synthetic. I'm not sure Peter's are. Angela said something about Nathan not having the right gene--maybe Peter had it. She didn't seem to indicate that Peter or Gabriel's powers were synthetic.

Best line of the night: "I haven't had a drink in months, and this place makes a mean appletini." That was such a Julian Sark moment! I love David Anders!

Mohinder is just disgusting, wouldn't be sad at all when they kill him off. I dislike what he's becoming and he was one of my fav characters in the past.

Hiro's misfortune and stupidity is unbeatable. Had to facepalm when all those things happened to him.

I am confused about Mr Petrelli. He is the one who creates the illusion or the other man?
