Most things there are true, however I am absolutly not orderly and health and cleanliness conscious or work and service oriented.

Yay I'm a Virgo too. Associated with purity haha. Um, a lot of the things mentioned in that list do sound like me. In the positives list, I found that diligent, orderly, methodical, observant, health and cleanliness conscious and mentally active seem to fit closest to my personality. There aren't many that sound the opposite of my personality, except maybe discreet When it comes to the negatives...hmm...I have to admit, they all sound exactly like me. Especially the perfectionist bit!

i would argue that our "insensitivity" is not really that, but simply our rational side keeping us from being overwhelmed with sympathy or empathy. I have had girlfriends who would beg to differ... but what do they know anyway? They were all born in the spring, of all times of the year.

A lot of things mentioned are things I wouldn't say about myself, because it sounds so weird to do so. It's easier to hear from people who know me.

I guess it fits pretty well, if I am honest with myself.

I'm a Virgo

A lot of those things are correct with me. However, I'm very scatty and disorganised - how very un-Virgo of me . I'm way too over critical, health conscience and I would say kind of intellegent in some way.

Virgo's are very underated and are always seen as fussy, harsh critics which always upsets me. We're all very nice people really

I am a Virgo. But I am afraid I am neither full of sass nor do I have a superiority complex. More inferiority for that matter . So I would have liked some of that.

I am associated to service, I think. I always serve others. I kinda like that though.

This definition that I found on astrology-online.com describes me better I think:

Meticulous and reliable
Practical and diligent
Intelligent and analytical.

I think a good lot of the Virgo description fits me, definitely more than any of the other signs. I'm organized when it comes to important things: my computer files are organized, my books are organized, my clothes are organized....my mail is not organized!

I'm a Virgo, and I definitely fit the description. Although I'm kind of half-organized. I never put anything away, and then I can't deal with the mess and do a huge cleaning. This happens almost every day. Everything in my house does have a place, though; it's all sorted into little boxes!

I completely agree. I find it really difficult to sympathize with people due to my rational outlook. In situations such as a death, I never know what to say. I kind of just think, "Well it happened, and crying won't undo it, so how about we just get on with our lives?" I admit that's a really cold thing to think, but the reason I think that is because emotion isn't getting in the way and blurring my judgement.

I'm a Virgo and I am not health and cleaniliness obsessed or organised.
I've been needing to see the doctor for months but have been putting it off and my room is probably about as organised as a bin, and as clean for that matter.

When I was a little younger however I would freak out if there was dirt on my hands, I couldn't sit on the ground and wouldn't be able to walk through woods because I was so scared of the dirt. I'm soooo over that and now I could roll in mud and not be incredibly bothered.

The rest of the points I completely agree with though, when describing myself. I am very modest (to the extent that I have trouble accepting compliments), very independent, controlled, observant, very sassy (can't help it), very mentally active, very flexible, and although i'm not now I used to be obessed with purity for some odd reason o_0 Even my screen name means 'pure'.

I'm a senstive person but maybe I can be insenstive to certain people.. and yes, I admit that I give out too much constant critism to my parents... and maybe I am a perfectionist... but being stubborn can be a good thing I think and I don't think I parade around the fact maybe I have a few brains.

Most of this is true. But some are not; such as the superiority complex, full of sass, and pig-headed nature bits lol.

I completely agree! My sister is always coming to me for sympathy, but she doesn't realize that when she puts herself into the situations she does its really hard for me to be sympathetic.

I am totally a Virgo! I am unorganized too, although in some things I am freakishly organized. It depends.

I would also say I am full of sass. Its my best quality, or not. I am very health and cleanliness concious, especially since I have had kids.

I pretty much roll with whatever. I can easily bend to fit whatever plans are made. No big deal.

Wow, I'm apparently a perfect Virgo! The only thing in that list which doesn't apply to me is modesty - I have no time for it.

One of my closest friend is a Virgo, and I think all these positive traits match her a lot. She's an extremely determined person and is really intelligent. I don't agree that the negative traits match my friend at all, though.

Have: sort of diligent, pretty analytical, self-sufficient, practical-ish, methodical, health and cleanliness conscious (when I feel like it), metally active, insensitivty, contant criticism (haha).

Have-not: not controlled at all, not orderly nor modest. Industrious, efficient, and full of sass are polar opposites to my personality. Not exacting, precise, detail-oriented, work oriented, painstaking, pragmatic, discreet or flexible (at all). I wouldn't say I've a perfectionist attitude, pig-headedness, or superiority complex though.

I guess the main thing that qualifies me as a Virgo is my complete lack of emotion, but I think that might be my hormones rather than my "sign" (I don't believe in astrology (and it does not = astronomy... sorry, that bothers me when people say that) at all btw, but this was an interesting comparison)

Yes I am a Virgo Many of these characteristics is like me, though not all, and few of the negatives (at least I don't feel so). But I'll have to admit that I have a little superiority complex, and I am not proud of it.
