I'd say Nightwish, but I've seen them twice and seeing them for the third time in a month, so I'll say Led Zeppelin and Nirvana, but that's impossible. Well, based on my own experience, Josh Groban. I went to BFD festival, as well, but didn't think the live acts were that great.
Based on youtube videos/TV performances, Kings of Leon are AMAZING live, as well as Queen (with Freddie Mercury, of course), and John Legend, who is just fantastic.

"Cold Desert" by Kings of Leon. Just discovered this song today and it's absolutely amazing. The lyrics are just incredible and so profound (and believe it or not, but he made up the last two verses up on the spot while he was immensely drunk while they were recording the song ). Listen to the lyrics and listen to his voice; so much emotion and heart. It's just fantastic.
