Indie, a little of alternative, black metal, industrial, EBM, techno, rave, a little rap (like Eminem), opera, classical/instrumental, power metal.

-what effects your music has on you
I would like to think they make me more imaginative with imagery and feelings if I am writing or not. They can make me calm down when in frustration too. and let me see that there is some beauty in the world.

I like to scream or sing to the music as well as tap my fingers to the beat.

What Effect Your Music Has On You: I have no musical talent, but I love music. When I listen to music, it sparks creativity in me. It inspires me, as it does everyone.

What Types of Music I Listen To
I think that I'm very diverse in the types of music I listen to. A majority of the songs on my iPod would probaly be alternative rock and pop. I love Paramore, Muse, Fall Out Boy, Lady Gaga and Green Day. But I also have some hard rock and christian music too.

What Effects Music Has On Me
I think that in the morning, if I listen to one of my favorite songs, it gets me super pumped up for the rest of the day. I think my music also reflects my personality and what kind of mood I'm in. If I upset and I just listen to my iPod, it always calms me down and makes me forget what I was mad about in the first place.

Basically anything; mostly country (Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Chely Wright, etc) pop (Lady GaGa, Miley Cyrus, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera), rock (Paramore, Greenday) 60s - 70s type of music (Pink Floyd, The Beatles, etc) and also music that doesn't really fit in a category, if you know what I mean. Like Jason Webley, Evanescense, The Dresden Dolls. So, basically, anything. I usually just fit music into two categories: the songs I like and the ones I don't

-what effects your music has on you
I can't live without music. Seriously. I can't go one day without listening to at least one song, or playing the guitar. Music also makes me feel better, literally. If I have a headache, listening to music help ease the pain, always.

Music makes me think of good memories that I have had, although some songs can make you think of bad ones, music calms me when I am frustrated or sad, and music also makes me feel happy.

Love to bang my head when I hear metal, dance when I hear some pop music I like, and love to sing/scream to both metal and pop music.

I'm 16, I'm a student. I listen to music for a huge variety of different reasons. To keep me happy whilst driving, to motivate me to excersize, to dance, & to relax/help me sleep. I love music with all my heart & listen to a lot of different styles, depending on my mood.

A lot of the time, I'll listen to music to make me feel better when I'm down. Certain songs help me cry it out/bring back some strong emotions & actually helps me move past them. It has a really nice affect on me that way. It also will definitely calm me down when I get really angry/upset. I have playlists just for this, actually.

Music has always had an effect on me- whenever I hear a good song, I get a fuzzy feeling in my trachea and feel like getting up and dancing. I grew up in a musical family-I inherited a flute from my grandfather, I play clarinet, want to play accordion, and sometimes play my grandfathers saxophone. My mom plays bass clarinet and my dad plays drums and tenor saxophone.
