The Secret History of CoS Forums.
In the beginning there was nothing.
Then came Harry Potter, and it was good. However the devoted were spread around the world with no way to connect. A small band of free thinkers found each other on the internet and began to think of a better way. This way was a forum, and in 2002 it was born. However this forum was not the forum you know today. It was different. The forum was small at first, the designers unaware of what the future would hold. The small band of free-thinkers met in bliss, given a chance to explore their fervor they flourished and gathered more free-thinkers to the cause. However there was trouble brewing. A crisis lay on the horizon that would split the forum. The players in the crisis were unimportant. What transpired left the free-thinkers confused. Their place of devotion was torn asunder, bogged down by the brutal tyranny of one man and his ever destructing ego. The strongest and bravest group of free-thinkers left the small forum and forged a new path. Born from the fires of tyranny was the new forum. It is the forum that you have all come to love and enjoy, and for nearly six years CoS Forum has striven to remain true to the ideals that the free-thinkers came together for. Lani has spoken. Go forth.
