Ok, so continuing to look throught the news archives:

-Both PoA and GoF premiered online BEFORE the Teaser was in Theatres

-The Announcement for PoA was Oct. 28th for a Nov. 14th showing

Looking at the old news, I think the signs point to the teaser coming out with Narnia

Yeah, but Mugglecast is planning a Live Episode for May 9th to coincide with the Trailer, I figured they knew something we didn't

You know how they have all this information and set reports they can't release becasue of the embargo

Very nice lcbaseball, I like the research

. Now the only thing about the PoA release that is misleading is that the movies have grown in popularity, so they will definitely be announced more than a month in advance IMO. But if both the PoA an GoF teaser was on the net before the Theaters than we can assume it will be that way for HBP.

They were REALLY uncertain about the date, and then became certain when everyone THOUGHT it was May 9.

I think it can be either (but hoping for Speed Racer)

No, not neccesarily, OotP wasn't OFFICIALLY released online till 2 days after Happy Feet

Oh, and about the Teaser Trailer:

Mugglecast seems quite sure it will be May 9th with Speed Racer, they are planning a Mugglecast Live to coincide.

The GoF VIDEO GAME was ALSO announced BEFORE the Teaser Trailer, SAME as HBP, but different than OotP, hmm

Oooooooh!!! Nice catch! It's probably because the OotP trailer was 8 months before and GoF was 6 months. (The Game announcement comes 7 months no matter what)

How many weeks beforehand???

Yeah, I really only became "obsessed" after the Books were OVER.

And now that the movies are all we have left, I want to know EVERYTHING about them, I seem to be experiencing HP withdrawl.

I am seriously going to know EVERY LINE now that differs from the Book when I see this movie

And if I'm not spending hours on here, it's listening to the Podcasts, or checking the internet for News at Snitchseeker, Mugglenet, Leaky...

So, what should we do to get back on topic?

Shall I post my Chapter Outlines again and analyze them in more depth for how the movie should be?

I believe you missed out on most of them ArryGrotter, am I right?

If I do it 2 Chapters a day again, that would bring us right up to HOPEFULLY the Teaser date, May 9th, 15 days away

I read through all of them, but only particpated in a few.

I wouldn't want to restart the chapters until after the trailer, so um... any ideas????

Ah- yes, that was one of my favorite pet theories. I don't know if it was "popular," but certainly one of the more extensively delved into theories by some fans. "I'm a Prince" was the theory that Eileen Prince underwent transfiguration after Snape became a Double-agent for Dumbledore. DD did Snape the favor of hiding his Mum in the library- as Irma Pince. Most of it centered on the "Vulture like" countenance of Pince and other seeming similarities in behaviors etc.

This idea began -as most do on the internet- peppered into various other forums until a poster over on the Leaky Cauldron called Pam2002 collected all the "evidence" out there and wrote a full essay on it for Scribbulus (here's the original essay ). I linked it over here and then expounded upon it- at first It was put in the Eileen Prince character analysis thread, and it was rather hotly debated until it was moved back into a thread of it's own in the "purely for fun and speculation only" category (which is all it ever was in the first place really.) *Sigh* Just goes to show how layered these books are. I was seeing Eileen/Irma "metaphors" in my sleep. (If you're interested Here's the whole lot of barking madness .) Those were the good old days.

OOPS: Back to topic. .... Um.... I wonder how much the HBP is going to rely on Post production CG and film color enhancement. Perhaps this is what is slowing down the announcement of a trailer?

I have NO IDEA, I was hoping for more from SCOOP, seems we've run out of things to discuss, we've done:

-casting discussions

-Script leaks and set reports

-Chapter by Chapter Analysis

-Question Lists

I have an idea. I was watching the sneak peek again today, so maybe we could discuss everything they show? We probably missed half of the stuff.

First off:
Harry in ?the Room of Requirement?

The Potions book (if that's what he's carrying) makes uss pinpoint the area of the film: Sectumsempra.

How similar/different will the Room look?

Do you want to do this?
