My other trailer comments - BScorp, I am sooo with you, the final scene of Snape sounds amazing.

I agree! Nice ending to a trailer, or teaser or what ever you call it.

I assumed that too. However, personally, I like it better when it is one of the actors voice's, taken from the film itself. It probably is just the trailer voiceover man

That was my first impression too.In the last trailer though,the one from Phoenix,wasn´t it Siruis´s voice?

Gosh, yes - I am SO with you. Trailer voiceover man is a joke these days..... works well for some trailers - but not for films like Harry Potter!

Ah well... we shall see.... I can't in any case think of any character who could say all those lines equally convincingly in any situation....

I completely agree. I was expecting much more Snape. But this is only a teaser trailer, if I'm right. I would have liked to see more Snape, because after all this film is named after him, and his role is crucial in this film. Perhaps we'll see more when a longer trailer is released...which I think is what normally happens.

I like the description as it is.Snape is there,yet people dont yet know how important he is for this film and for the plot yet.

Yes, we don't want to give too much away at this stage, but a little more Snape wouldn't do any harm. We need to show that he does have a role in this film and I don't think that giving him some more time in the trailer would be a bad thing. I guess I just want more Snape . It would be nice to have him well represented in the trailer to reflect on the amount of screen time that he'll get (or I hope he'll get) in HBP.

There should me tons of Snapeness, in the movie. But I'm OK with seeing just little bits of it in the trailer.

I agree,including much of him,might give it all away like I said.How long has he appeared in the other trailers so far,has he even been in them?

I thought about that too. I Hope the trailer wouldn't represent the amount of Snape in the actual movie. However, I do like that you see Snape right before we here "Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince."

good point,so sutile ,only us would get it!!!!

and yes,Snape appears twice in the trailer of Phoenix ,and once in the Goblet trailer.He does appear 4 times in Azkaban though.

I wouldn't include him more than the other trailers have included him.Keeps coherence with the previous ones,and doesn't give much away.

I'm sorry.....

As much as there was. Snape is a very ambiguous character and Jo didn't give us much on him (in interviews etc.), so why should the trailers?

Well, I think they should at least give the unsuspecting viewer a clue that Snape is important, if Snape is only in a teeny bit of the trailer, all that's telling me is that he's not going to be as big a focus in the film as he is in the book, and if that happens I'll be devastated. (I'm a Snape fan, in case you couldn't tell. )

EDIT: I was saying in another post how it would be cool in the trailer if we could hear Lupin say "If Dumbledore has reason to trust Snape then so do I"-then cut to Snape at spinners end saying something like "I want to serve the dark lord" But maybe that would give too much away... would still like to see a bit more Snape in the trailer though, at least to keep me happy for the next six months while I wait for the actual film.
