As a Muggle, I couldn't possibly comment. We weren't taught such things about William the Conqueror when I was at school.

Which leads me to wonder ... I realise that your family have not had many dealings with my world (the Muggle one) -- apart from that unfortunate phase when you were a Death Eater but we won't go into that now -- but I do wonder whether you have ever visited any of Britain's great Norman cathedrals?

Given your Norman ancestry, I think you'd find them fascinating ... from a historical POV, certainly, and also an architectural one, if that appealed. They're very spiritual buildings and you might find that very interesting too.

Here is the nearest one to where I live, Rochester Cathedral. It's the second oldest cathedral in England and was founded in 604 AD by Bishop Justus. Construction on the present building was started in 1080 by William the Conqueror's architect, Bishop Gundulf:
