I really hope the scene with the kiss is played out just as it was in the book, though that might be asking too much.

I like Greyback though, he looked in fine form.

Little Tom Riddle, looks good mabye a little too "Damien" but still good. I just don't think he should SO evil right away, otherwise that defeats the point of showing his origins. He was not ALWAYS that way.

Fenrir growling was awesome. Seems like they got that spot on, at least trailer wise.

I found it very adult for lack of a better word. Just from these shots it seems like we won't get let down.

the shot of fenrir was brilliant and i thought ginny looked awesome.

they indeed casted a very handsome tom riddle like boy as well.

i am so freaking amped. so when is the full theatrical trailer?!?!?!

i think Gambon is finally settling into his role as dumbledore.

was anyone else freaking out about the ring of fire scene from the cave? looks AMAZING and not to overdone..

i can't say enough!! i can't wait to see what Master and LC have to say!!

I hope they get into Voldemorts mother and her bewitching Tom Riddle to make him love her.

Geryback's in there? I've already seen it 3 times. I guess I missed that! Will have to watch it again. As for the backstory, I loved the gaunt memory too. I have a feeling they won't be included. We'll just have to wait and see.

They better not do that with this film. I was completely shocked when Snape killed Dumbledore. It better be a surprise in HBP! I can't wait to see how Alan Rickman acts when he kills Dumbledore. I know he'll do well.

I know everyone else has mentioned it, but I never did. Thank GOD this doesn't show Ron and Lav-Lav snogging each other senseless! I have been paranoid that this will be some romantic comedy, but this teaser is giving me hope.

Yep. He's the one growling when we see Harry running through the fields.

I actually think the clues for the BIG Snape reveal in DH have been overly obvious so far, but I cannot wait to see how Yates handles Snape in this movie.

Fenrir growling is so creepy. I thought it was an animal when I first saw it. That's perfect that I felt that way, though; Fenrir isn't supposed to act human in the way he attacks others.

I agree. The cinematography looks amazing. Finally, on the fifth watch, I spotted Greyback; I'm so glad they included him. He seems perfect.

As a couple people have mentioned, I actually really like Gambon's performance. I never thought that day would come. Hopefully the trailer as an accurate representation of his overall performance.

For a split second you see him!! He growls and it's a profile shot of him. It's right before the Ginny part.

I never had a problem with Gambon...his performance in GoF was completely out of character but that was Newell's fault. He just has to be written properly.

I'm really glad they included him, too! I was hoping they would. It'll be so creepy when we see him in the actual film, growling, reading to pounce on Harry.

I love Gambon's performance, too! This is such a big change from Goblet of Fire. He acts so much more like Dumbledore. I had that feeling when I saw the IMAX HP ad (I refuse to call it a teaser), but this confirmed it.

Am I the only one that has watched the teaser 20+ times?

Thank God for that. IMO, it would have been a turn off to see Ron and Lav-Lav snogging, in any form. With all the talk of romance set to be in the film, it's nice to see something dark, and kinda scary.

And also, there was so much press when HBP came out and the "Snape Kills Dumbledore" spoiler was leaked. So at least a few people have to remember that. It's definitely not going to be a Luke-I-am-your-father moment, so maybe they feel that they don't have to give lots of clues. That's what I'm a bit worried about though, that the title plot will get slightly lost in all the chaos. I have hope though!

Re: The All Inclusive HBP Thread v10 - Now with Trailer Polls!

I agree, they really put all they could into this one, I think that the movie will live up to what it needs to. And that after that, DH will just get better like nothing has ever been before!

I really think how they put it together is just only a sample of what they can do with any of the trailers! They could make them all worthy to be called a "Potter preview"! They have sent this trailer far beyond any of the others; and made every Potter fan salivate over the movie.

Kudos to everyone on the crew, and in the movie; I can't wait to see the other trailers and the movie!

No!

I'm so happy they kept in the lines from the book: "Did you know, then?" "Did I know I had just met the most dangerous dark wizard of all time? ....No."

I was hoping they'd keep that in!

I love Riddle the more I rewatch it! He's not completely evil either. He sounds so lost and a little sad. It's PERFECT.

I love Dumbledore's grave look when Riddle says he could talk to snakes...
