that's the point of a teaser trailer though, imo. it gets you excited about the movie without giving too much away.

Actually, we liked the suit. I'm not speaking for everybody, but personally, I just wanted it to be purple. And it is! If it weren't, I might not be as glad.

You're right! I just downloaded the teaser from AOL in its highest resolution and it's definitely Ron. So Ron is in this trailer!

The opening music might be from the movie but I know the second track in the teaser is from POA when the Dementor appears on the train.

It does remind me a little of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory but only because of the rainy London street.

Well they do hint is Voldemort , they flashback images of Voldy when the boy appears, and Harry appears watching the memories. I simply love how they to me have captured the essence of the book in the trailer. But of course that is me.

Ah! The frustration! After waiting so long for it to download on my non-broadband computer, the picture froze after the first shot of the train, right when Dumbledore is showing Harry the memories, so all I got was the sound. Then it wouldn't replay!
I am so mad! Guess I will have to try again or wait until they show it on TV, then I will tape it to go over and over again and analyse the whole thing.

I'm guessing this is the Glouster Catherdal shoot that required all those extras?

I'm not so sure what you mean by "disturbed child", but the orphanage scene in the book definitely portrayed Tom as being a little sociopathic already...a bit more subtle than in this trailer though. I have to say that. Still, young Tom is so creepy that it works.
