I'm so happy to hear from you and your team. I was just getting settled into my new office when I heard about the position given to you and Mrs. Weasley. I think you'll both do an excellent job. Mrs. Weasley can lend her friendly nature to projects, and I think your honesty will be rather refreshing in the Ministry. Plus, you're both far too wily to fall for any tricks the Nargles or Flibbergoots might pull.

I'll be very glad to collaborate with your department. In particular, the activities to promote environmental awareness sound wonderful. Rolf has been wanting to give a talk on Dugbogs for ages. He wrote the entire speech a year ago on the kitchen wall while waiting for a pot of stew to heat up. Lorcan has since added a couple words of his own, but we can decipher which ones are Rolf's and which ones aren't...I think.

If you decide to stop by our offices, please don't mind the fact that it's only half decorated. I got distracted halfway through and then decided to leave it that way. Half the ceiling is green and the other half is purple. It looks a bit like the coat of an Arkleseizure. Dobby might be there too, as he stops by every Wednesday to bring new socks with which to decorate our walls. If you like, I think he'd be glad to give you and Mrs. Weasley a few pairs as well. Nothing livens up a room like a pair of socks by the windows.

We hope to see you and Molly soon. I can't wait, this is going to be so fun!

Voldemort and Lucius appointment as 'morale officers' should see a whole new decoration scheme at the Office of the Ministry. I imagine an ambiance of gloom and doom will pervade. (Kidding - I am sure they will make it a happy place.)

well, they did an excellent job cheering everyone up during the campaign, so we (that is the Hermione/Neville transition team) thought we'd take them by their word and give them a second chance. But of course, there are two very senior people (Lucius, and especially Ron) whose job it is to keep tabs on the head Morale officer... just to show you that we are not just keeping our fingers crossed but also our eyes open!

I was kidding...besides, do you recall the decor? It already had a rather dark scheme to it with the darkened lighting, highlighting the gold statues and fixtures and the green waves of light when people apparate in. Voldemort and Lucius might add dashes of light coloring as they did in their presentation. I think it was pink, but I cannot remember exactly. Now wouldn't that be special? I could just see Voldemort and Ron at it over the office decor.

The Ministry definitely could do with a bit of sparkle. If it isn't the lethal sort, or any form of green light.
