Do you actually watch music vids and if you do, what do you think of them? I watch them sometimes, but for the most part I think they're rather pointless and stupid. My favorite music video person is probably Bjork though, her music vids are actually part of her the art that she makes. I also was watching A Little Piece of Heaven by Avenged Sevenfold, where the video actually tells a story. Parts of it are kind of inappropriate and with cartoonish gruesomness, but it certainly stands out.

I usually just put the song on my comp and wander of somewhere else listening to it, and i never see the vids.... but my three fave vids of all time are; "Iris" the Goo Goo Dolls, "Sympathy"- the Goo Goo Dolls and "Before It's Too Late"- the Goo Goo Dolls. Vids i find really dumb, "SOS"-the Jonas Brothers, "7 Things"- Mylie Cyrus etc etc.

I watch some of the music videos of the music i listen to. Though not all videos are that good, for instance Children of Bodom, i absolutely love these guys but they videos get a little boring sometimes Also i dont like how some videos dont relate to the song at all, I can't think of one right now though Slipknot vids are usually pretty good though

i hate those music videos where all you're watching is the singers hogging the camera and watching them sing and play , way too stupid.

I watch music videos all the time on youtube and I really like them. Most of the videos I watch though are funny like Hot N Cold by Katy Perry and So What by Pink, but some like Leave Out All The Rest by Linkin' Park and Going Under by Evanesence are really...interesting. Another kind of funny one is Misery Buisness by Paramore.

I"m not all that keen on music videos but I do like the one for DragonForce's "Heros of our Time". It's nothign all that special but I love watching them perform (even fake perform :P). My only complaint is it's cut down to under 5 minutes... but then making a 7+ minute video would be a bit much

The video for AFI's Miss Murder was quite good from memory...

Also I really like lots of Slipknot videos.. they're very messed up but interesting. The one for Psychosocial has lots of fire and looks quite awesome It's a bit 'milder' than their other videos but I sill wouldn't recommend it to kids...

I'll watch music videos if it's a band or singer really enjoy or if the video contains a lot of imagery. But yeah, watching vids of bands simply standing their singing/playing is boring...

I despise Hannah Montana music vids. I hate her songs to begin with and her voice and now even what she acts like. But ESPECIALLY her music vids

I like some music videos and I dislike others. I'll put the link to one of my favourite ones here. It's a Radiohead video, and well worth watching right to the end. It tells a great story.

It's this type of video that I most love, which is also why I love Radiohead- their videos are always a challenge to see through- there;s nothing transparent about the band or what they do. I'm most interested in artistic or overtly original videos. Another example is the saturated version of Viva La Vida. It looked perfect.

One of my all time favorite music videos is All is Full of Love by Bjork, absolute perfection and art. Lots of people only see the weirdness though

i love Dragonforce's 'Heroes of our time' Video I was gutted that they cut it down though..they cut out the bit at the beginning that i love...and i agree its nothing special but its great watching them

I actually quite like From First To Last's- Note To Self video...I'm not sure why but i think it is quite good...and Escape the Fate's- Situations is just awesome

My favorite music video always has been and likely will remain Depeche Mode's Enjoy the Silence.

I remember being five years old and taping it (yes, on VHS) so I could watch it over and over again. And I did. A lot.

Goodness, this makes me feel old - I've been watching that video longer than anyone in this thread has been alive.

You know back in the day before all these reality shows hit the music television channels I used to adore watching the music videos. But now they hardly ever show them. I don't really like any of the new music videos nowadays, I love all the old ones from the eighties and the nineties. Not too sure about them now though.....

My favourite bands do not have so good music videos :/ except old Nightwish and Tarja Turunen maybe..

I just saw the video for REMs Everybody Hurts, and I have to say that it's simply genius. I love it! It never gets old and I love to read the subtitles during it that really point out how people feel at harsh times. Everyone getting out of their cars and walking up the highway is a brilliant end to it.

I kind of like Evanescence's music video "Good Enough". It's not the best thing ever but it somewhat resembles the song and it looks pretty cool

I used to watch Music Videos on (believe it or not MTV) but now that MTV doesn't even play music or music videos, I don't watch them anymore. I used to watch them on Launch.Yahoo too on occasion
