What problems have you had? I've had the following:

Crashing at cut scenes (solved by changing display settings)
Pickaxe not breaking ice in 'The Dark Tower' (unsolved)
Polyjuice not changing characters, then crashing when moving to another room.

Edit: I've remembered more:

Won't stop saving if autosaves during cut scene
In QWC level, attacking book disappeared

I bet there are a few more, too

I had the glitch in the 2nd year when you have to give Harry the Skele-Grow and Harry completely disappears. I just had to restart the level.

Hey guys, quick question, this patch thing you guys talk about that you're waiting to come out. How do you know when and if it's coming out? Just play the waiting game? Do the consoles generally seek them out? Like a refresh system update everytime you start it, or do we have to find them?
I'm asking because I'm going to eventually have to probably wait for one too

I've just got a runtime error because I've been playing the game for too long

Edit: Just finished story mode! (With a bit of help, I must say... ) And I'm at 50%! I didn't think I'd be that high but I did end up exploring a lot when there were technical obstructions in my way .

Unfortunately I go back to uni tomorrow and aren't able to play the game all day I've decided to do a level or so each night till I reach 100% (and I might be needing help with that )

I am stuck again. Sorry if this has been posted before, but I am stuck on the Dark Tower level. I am trying to rescue Sirius, but the dementors are just flying straight at me and I can't progress. I am using the Patronus charm which breaks them into pieces, but then another batch comes along and freezes me in a sort of ice cube. When I break free from that, the dementors just pull me forward and suck, causing me to always loose a life and some money. I've been trying to get past this for 20 minutes, doing the same old thing: Patronus charm, lose a life, patronus charm, lose a life etc... I just don't know how to get past these Dementors

You'll be wanting to use the 'Wingardium Leviosa' spell on the trash cans right there; if they are frozen, hit the statues holding the torches and they will melt them. After using the spell on the barrels, they should drop something. Defeat the three/four dementors coming after you, and wWhen the main dementor sucks you in again, he will also suck in the object and it will cost him one heart. Afterward, three/four more dementors will come after you. Just repeat the process until all three hearts are gone. ^_^

Also, I was able to get a second save file going. ^_^

Also, those of you having game glitches - I shot off an email last night to WB support and just got a reply that they are looking into it. It couldn't hurt to send emails about your glitches; if they do come out with a patch, it would be best if they had all the glitches taken care of in one go, you know?

So, this time around on my game, I'm planning on saving that area for last and will see what happens. I can't believe I'm starting over... *facepalm*

I found something that may help you guys in the "Dungeon of Doom" - I'm not sure how well it works because I haven't got stuck in there. I guess it's better then nothing:

Let me know if it works If it does work, make sure you autosave so you don't end up in there again. Hopefully this works so people don't have to start all over - I've heard many people say this method works and it involves button mashing of Circle and X.

It worked! And yes, it involved much mashing of my [o] button after jumping. And it gave me a gold brick, too, which I thought was odd.

I'll go back in eventually, but at least I know how to get out now. Thanks so much, magic! ^_^

Your welcome! I'm just glad it worked and I hope I don't run into this glitch when I replay the levels But at least we have a temporary work around for now until, hopefully, a patch comes out

On your regular play through did you find the mini-levels with Norbert & Ron barfing slugs?

I only just found them now (going through the castle after Year 4, trying to get 100%) but I'm just curious if they're available throughout the entire regular storyline?

I played the Ron slugs thing, but the time turner won't work so I didn't do the norbert thing

Even with all the glitches I really enjoy this game

Ran in to the basement of doom last night for the first time. Really don't understand it as every time we went down there in the first play though we never had a problem!

Doesn't affect game play or your percentage but has anybody else had problems with cutscenes 64 and 65 not unlocking in the top room of the Leaky Cauldron? They should be the mandrake ones if I've worked it out properly.

Something's happened! I don't know what though. The game has just gone to a black screen and there's a constant noise like a car horn. Help?

My game does this from time to time; I just reset it.

Also, while I may have gotten out of that basement, every time I choose to continue the story, the classroom above it is where I spawn. I think my game wants me back in there.

OK, so I've completed story mode and I have an embarrassing 36%. After Story Mode I ended up in the Leaky Cauldron - where do I go and what do I do now ?

Also, when I want to put the game off I select the Leaky Cauldron on the start menu and it says ''any progress you've made will be lost''. How can I save my progress before putting the game off ?

And lastly, does unlocking a character mean I can polyjuice into them ? Help would be appreciated

Now it's all of the fun stuff! Exploring Hogwarts using the spells you have now, using free play, all kinds of good things!

I suggest you get a Death Eater so you have access to dark magic, as well as Hagrid so you can pull heavy objects. You can find Hagrid's token in "The Forbidden Forest" chapter using free play, and you can find Lucius Malfoy in "Follow the Spiders" free play.

When a character token is unlocked, you must travel to Madam Malkin's in Diagon Alley and purchase it from her counter. By this point in the game, you should have at least a few waiting to be bought.

As for the saving issue, first thing is first - you don't need to go to the Leaky Cauldron every time you want to quit the game. I suggest merely waiting until you've auto-saved something, whether it is getting a golden brick, a character token, a red brick parcel, or completing some free play. Buying things in Diagon Alley will also cause your game to save.
