They've updated the uniforms too - they have black pants now as opposed to grey in 1-4. This reflects both the change that occurred in the PoA film and in the LEGO sets in GoF or OotP (I can't remember which - I haven't bought a lego set since CoS )

Finally managed to get 100% on 1-4 and now 5-7 is coming. That is AMAZING! I really can't wait. Gives me something Harry Potter-related to look forward to after DH2

Oh, that's fantastic! I can't wait to see what they've done to the story and how they are going to deal with the darker tone of the last three books. Love the hair changes, and the wardrobe changes as well. I'm definitely looking forward to this.

The demo opened in the grave yard scene from the seventh book with Harry and Hermione on the trail of the horcruxes they’re seeking. We wandered around the graveyard, trying out the spells in their arsenal as we solved simple puzzles. For one, we had to use the aguamenti spell to put out some fires. Another required we levitate some objects around. The demo closed with the players taking on Nagini in a small boss fight through Bathilda Bagshot’s house.

Sound awesome! This means Godric's Hollow is confirmed as a level in the game.

Players will visit the Lovegood house and hear about the Deathly Hallows from Xenophilius Lovegood. During that segment, Parsons’ revealed that the team is going to employ a Limbo style look to tell the story of the Tale of the Three Brothers (and yes, you’ll control the Peverell brothers for this segment).

OMG! I would never have thought of them incorporating the Tale of the Three Brothers into the gameplay! I can't wait for this

I was promised that the final, grand battle will have players wading through Death Eaters, giants and working alongside all of Harry’s allies as they attempt to take down Lord Voldemort once and for all.

I expected something like this, but it's good to see confirmation

Parsons elaborated a little on the death of one particular character and said that Harry will attempt to put him back together using an instruction manual he finds.

This will be both hilarious and sad at the same time.

One particular design choice that I found very clever was elaborated during my demo. When players start the game, they’ll be stripped of all of the spells Harry might have learned previously. While this might be annoying, it’s nicely justified by the promotion of Delores Umbridge to Defense Against the Dark Arts professor. Returning players will be forced to build up their spell arsenal, but it’s so grounded in the universe that it seems less punishing.

Wow, what an inventive and convinent way to start the game afresh! I always get annoyed in the EA games when in the first level (especially in OotP) Harry has forgotten how to do anything with his wand and needs to relearn most of the spells from someone else.

The game will be broken into four segments, following the timelines of the films.

This means that DH will have double the levels of OotP and HBP

I hope they stick with the release date this time I still remember when 1-4 was arriving in March but wasn't released til late June

I managed to get 100% in 1-4 twice. Once you know what glitches to look for and just how to avoid them, you can go through it all the way without encountering any of them. (this is also true if you are extremely lucky.)

The problem I have is that the polyjuice potion refuses to work

I am interested in restarting from the start of the game sometime soon though

The early previews of the new one look fantastic, getting 12 levels of DH will be amazing, and there will be plenty of new characters so all in all, can't wait!

Yep! I wonder if they will be able to play the music too I doubt it though, due to legal reasons. However I did like that we heard part of Desplat's "Godric's Hollow Graveyard" playing in the background

They'll probably just stick to the movie soundtracks in some levels. They've done this in Lego Indiana Jones and Lego Star Wars. The ghost dance is similar to a scene in one of the Star Wars games where you make a radio type thing and a dance floor, and the radio blurts out the music from Jabba's hut party.
