Looks like people are running out of ideas for movies. I probably wont see it.

Toy Story is one of my favourite childrens' movies ever. The animation is outstanding so I'll most likely see TS3 when it comes out on DVD (I almost never see animated films at the cinema). Great to see they have the old actors back too.

Seriously? Wow I can remember my grandma taking me to see Toy Story 2! Had no idea it was that long ago.

This movie looks so amazing to me. I loved the teaser trailer. It brought back so many memories to me. The original and sequel are very nostalgic to me so I must see this movie. Besides the plot sounds hysterical! All of the toys end up at a day care center this is going to be classic!

So true. It's usually either remakes, continuances for series', or based off books. I really wish more completely original movies would come out. This still looks kind of cute and okay, though.

There are no original ideas left, that is true (some movies coming up in various development stages: a Candyland movie, a Battleship movie, a movie based somehow on the old Viewmaster toy...), but I have faith in Pixar these days. I mean, they probably have to screw up at some point, but it has yet to happen, so I think they can do right by Toy Story 3.

Three years ago, I thought Cars was a sure sign that Pixar was finally running out of steam. I mean, really? Talking cars? That's not innovative, clever, or even very endearing.

But then they brought out a movie about a french rat who wants to become a chef, a movie about the last robot on Earth, and a movie about an old man and a boy scout who go on an adventure in a flying house.

I think it's safe to say they haven't run out of ideas yet.

Plus, from what I understand, the plots that have eventually grown into Toy Story 2 and Toy Story 3 were part of the original pitch for the first movie, but were cut due to time constraints. I don't have a problem with them finishing what they started ten years later.

More worrying is this rumored "Cars 2." But I won't even go into that.

Ah. I don't mind that either, Soul. Just as long as they do a good job and all that. In the end, that's what matters. That we... the fans get a quality product... movie... that's worth watching and enjoying

Seeing as Pixar's got quite a few more movies lined-up (most of them not sequels), I don't think they're really out of ideas yet. They're one of the only film companies I would trust when double (or in this case, triple) dipping. Seeing as "Toy Story 2" was so enjoyable (I actually liked it better than the first one), I'm not opposed to Pixar giving us another story with these characters. I'd rather they take the helm than Disney's (excuse me, "Circle 7's") original plan to do it with the "Buzz toys get recalled to Asia" plotline.

I saw the trailer in 3D this past Friday when I went to see the Toy Story double feature. Everyone should go see that as soon as possible before it is taken out of theaters. Anyway, the Toy Story 3 trailer is decent but I don't think the film will live up to the first two. RIP Jim Varney.

i grew up watching the Toy Story movies. I knew them berbaitum when I was five, and can still recite long bits. I was so excited to hear they were doing a number three. A lot of times when a sequel comes out, the company is just cashing in on a popular name, but it has been so long since Toy Story 2, I trust Pixar to not skimp on plot.

Ah. Well at least they did a good job so far.

And a definite RIP to Jim Varney. His character that he played in the first two films was my favorite.

Also, on a side note -- I remember either reading or hearing something about him being a Shakespearean (classically) trained actor. So take that, Leonard Maltin

. My daughter told me about what he thought of the Earnest movies. He basically slammed them.

Back onto Toy Story 3... I really want to see this movie. I got a kick out of the first two

, and I can't wait to see the old gang again.

I am staying hopeful for Toy Story 3. It will always be my favorite of the Disney Pixar movies. Great characters and there is a lot of story they can run with.

The trailer's cute, though it doesn't hint at what the storyline will be about (but I'm fine with being surprised). I'll definitely see this movie when it comes out. It's been a very long time since I watched either of the Toy Story movies.

I am eagerly waiting for this film , yeah I am a child at heart. I don´t care , I am looking forward to watching this film.
