A very good read, it points out how the past years really were. Michael Jackson, this name wasn't anymore said with respect but with disgust and to ridicul him as person.
When 1994 or so this whole phedofilia topic came up hardly anyone believed he was innocent. At least his fans kept saying he would never do something like that but the media made pretty sure they already had judged him.

At that time my opinion on this was pretty much two ways, either he was innocent and this people just wanted his money or he was guilty in any case he could do whatever he wanted the world would keep thinking of him as criminal. To me it was settled when the parents took his money, which parent would do that if this guy was really guilty?

But it was the second time when I started to rethink, maybe he was afterall guilty? I can't imagine how it must have been if he really was innocent, there is I guess nothing worst on this planet one could be charged with.

This said it is nice that all this people, me included, look at his music most of all rather than to rehash all the bad media in past years. It is just sad and yes, tragic that he wasn't allowed to see this day. Even if one wonders and questions what the hell is wrong with all this people who just tried everything to get as far as possible away from that man and now are all sad and shocked by his death, they should be glad or like I said earlier hope history may look upon Micheal Jackson kinder than in his living days.

I've had his music pumping through the house since I found out. Such a legend.

Me too -- only on Youtube... since I don't have any of his cd's... I hope to try to get one soon though...

link to his youtube channel

There's a pretty good selection of his music on here -- I ran into it awhile back and have been listening to it...

Re: RIP Michael Jackson

This is just not a good week to be a Hollywood or Recording Star, is it? First Ed McMahon, then Farrah and Michael on the same day! They say they come in threes. I hope that means we are done for awhile.

Godspeed, Michael Jackson! May angels fly thee home!

Whoops, spoke too soon! I have just learned that famous pitchman, Billy Mays, the blackbearded, boisterous hawker of such things as OxyClean and The Hercules Hooks has been found dead...not to sound too disrespectful, but is this Rapture?

Re: RIP Michael Jackson

I didn't exactly forget him...I was pointing out that we lost these three (now four, if you count Billy Mays) in the same week; two on the same day.

Fortunately I am not that kind of person interested in looking for any failure someone famous has to destroy that person.
I was never ever one of those who made fun of him, never. I am proud to say that now, many did make fun of him a lot and they will regret for sure.
Besides
A fact is a fact, and along these years, I have seen, with Michael Jackson there wasn´t actually any real fact to condemn him.

I was there as a fan in 1993, it was really someting shocking indeed, but never believed that much in all that (To condemn someone first I need to have real evidences), and never cared that much about his appearance or personal life, cuz I never found good reasons for condemn him.

I was there too, I was there when Thriller rocked the world.
I saw "Moonwalker" twice at theaters, to watch Michael Jackson in the big screen LOL

Whatever the haters says, his personal life doesn´t matter.
And there will not be another star like Michael, and happily for those who like me enjoyed this massive phenomenom in the 80s.

Not even Madonna was like Michael Jackson, not even Elvis Presley as worldwide and massive as him.

Except by that time the moonwalk was almost thirty years old and far from forgotten as Jame Brown did it in The Bules Brothers.

There have been rumours flying around that MJ faked his death so he didn't have to pay out his debt which is $400 million. The nerve of some people

Yeah, I've been hearing that a lot too. The craziest one I've heard though is that he's his sister LaToya. Honestly.

So you're not the only one who has seen his ghost then?

Nah, he's sharing a house with Salman Rushdie.

There are always going to be far-fetched conspiracy theories coming from people who won't let the dead rest in peace. According to some commentators on the Princess Diana conspiracy theorists, this kind of thing it is to do with people not being able to accept that someone hugely high-profile and legendary has died at a young age from something so ordinary. (Relatively speaking, in that it could happen to anyone). Personally, I think it's a lot to do with some people loving wild speculation and juicy gossip and theories.

Whatever people's opinions on Michael Jackson, he was a fantastic musician, truly one of a kind.

Actually, this has been joked about for years, that Michael and LaToya were really the same and all that.

Re: RIP Michael Jackson

This is joe jackson talking about michael's death, and it is just horrible to watch. When asked about how he and the family are doing, he replys by saying we're fine, and he talks about losing a superstar instead of losing his son. LIke that was not bad enough, he goes on to blug his company.
