Favorite scenes / lines in the HBP movie
This movie easily blended humorous, serious, and sad scenes quite nicely. What are your most memorable/favorite scenes or lines in the movie?
Mine would have to be the scene where Harry and Hermione discuss Romilda Vane... Quote:

Re: Favorite Scenes/Lines in the movie?
The scene where Harry is on Felix Felicis is perfect. Exactly as it should be, and Slughorn and Hagrid were also very good. Aragog was really small though...

"Well then you're perfectly welcome to come with me!"
That was so hilarious.

![]() I loved the whole Christmas scene. Mr. Weasleys reaction to Harry and Ginny was great. Ron interupting them a few seconds later was a fun one as well. ![]()

Re: Favorite Scenes/Lines in the movie?
The Felix Felicis was hilarious! "Harry!?" "Sir?!" And Harry doing the spider pincers cracked me up! And when Slughorn asked if Aragog had family, and Harry was like "Yeah!"
![]() Ron giving Slughorn a hug was hilarious. And when Ron chucked the box at Harry! I cracked up laughing! I loved it when DD said "Severus.......Please." It was perfectly done. I loved just about everything about this film!

Or how about...
Ron: Keepers need to be quick, nimble. McLaggen: (Snatches fly out of midair) I think I'll manage.

Re: Favorite Scenes/Lines in the movie?
The Felix Felicis scene was the funniest scene in any of the movies! And it was so unexpected, as in the book it's not a particularly funny scene. By far the best line of the movie: "sir!" Daniel shined in this scene as a comedic actor...finally!

Re: Favorite Scenes/Lines in the movie?
Lines;
Harry's and Ron's conversation about their future wives' having good skin. Hermione's "Harry enjoyed Dessert!" Ron's "Did you and Ginny do it?" Harry's response when Slughorn asks if Aragog had a family This is all I remember now. As for scenes, Ron under love potion is my favourite. Also Ginny giving Harry the pie, Arthur's shed, Slughorn's class, the Slug Club dinner with the boy eating the dessert, Cormac flirting with Hermione, and Harry staring at Ginny. Cormac throwing up over Snape. I laughed so much at that! |

Dont forget the pincers, /click click click Hahahahaha. Dumbledores death was done perfectly IMO. The way Harry was crying on Ginny's shoulder, so sad ![]() My favourite scenes would have to be: The flashbacks in the opening (brilliant) Hermione crying over Ron and Lavendar (heartbreaking) Dumbledores death, as noted above. The Inferi, especially the hand. Dumbledores "Kill Me" while drinking the potion was spectacular, though very shattering. Felix Felixis and the Love Potion, woow, never have i heard the audience laugh so much in Harry Potter. It was absolutely hysterical. And last but not least, quidditch. I absolutely loved the quidditch scenes. These are jsut my favourite scenes, in no particular order. I loved the whole movie, the scenes omitted really did not bother me.

Re: Favorite Scenes/Lines in the movie?
I absolutely started rolling during the scene where they were at the tavern talking to Slughorn and he spills his drink on Hermione and simply says.
"All hands on deck, Granger!" That man was another example of perfect casting. |

Re: Favorite Scenes/Lines in the movie?
I was pleasantly surprised by how effective and well done the comedy was, as I had no idea the movie was meant to be so joke heavy. Hands down, however, the scene that made me laugh the loudest--and enticed me to let out a completely unladylike guffaw--was the first meeting of the Slug Club when Cormac McLaggen attempts to flirt with Hermione. The was he (attempted) to seductively put his finger in his mouth was around the point where I lost it. It just seemed like such a hilarious thing to do and I was not expecting something with such blatant sexual undertones to pop up in a Harry Potter movie. Loved. It.
That's not to say that I wasn't moved scenes with a more serious nature, but that one continuously pops in my head. |

Re: Favorite Scenes/Lines in the movie?
Cave scene was my favourite.
As for lines... probably Draco's "This is from my father" *stomps on Harry's nose* But nothing really did standout as far as quotes go.

Re: Favorite Scenes/Lines in the movie?
"All hands on deck, Granger" was the line that made me laugh the hardest.
For me, though, the seminal scene was when Harry and Hermione were at the bottom of the stairs after the Quidditch match. It was well executed. Hermione calls him out for his feelings for Ginny by saying (paraphrasing), "You're my best friend. I see the way you look at her." And when Ron and Lavender leave, Harry says to Hermione, "It feels like this," in reference to seeing Ginny with Dean. That scene was brilliantly executed. |

Re: Favorite Scenes/Lines in the movie?
There are soooo many, I feel: Just a few
![]() The entire liquid luck scene "Harry?" "Sir?" Then Harry and the pincer scene ![]() "Hermione has nice skin too" that whole conversation ![]() the entire Slughorn scene when Hermione was trying to escape McLaggen: "Dragon Balls" ![]() All the scenes of tension b/t Hermione/McLaggen/Ron were hilarious Luna and her toes quote when she fixes Harry's nose. The scene where Harry comforts Hermione really got me ![]() I think Emma Watson's performance has really improved in this film ![]() Probably the best "funny" HP movie yet ![]()
