Re: Favorite scenes / lines in the HBP movie
Drunken Slughorn; "Good to see you, Wallenby." (sp?)
And how he spilled his drink on Hermione....![]() The whole scene in the Dorms when Ron was on the Love Potion. When he threw the box at Harry, it reminded me of someone having a bit of a temper tantrum. ![]()

I loved how he kept on messing up Ron's name . I was a little worried that the actor who played him wouldn't do that good of a job -- but in the end, I'm glad that I was wrong about that .I loved that too -- Ron, Ron, Ron... ![]()

"Harry!"
"Sir" That was great. Though not sure why he ws acting drunk from it... I also loved the whole converstation Harry and Ron had about Hermione and Ginny's skin. That was hilarious.

Re: Favorite scenes / lines in the HBP movie
I laughed out loud at the line that wasn't there. Just after Snape, sorry, Professor Snape, delivered Dumbledore's holiday greeting to Harry, and said that Dumbledore was traveling - Harry asked "Where?" and Snape (sorry, Professor Snape!) just looked at him and walked away. More Alan Rickman perfection. Cracked me up!

I liked the scene where Ron and Harry were fighting for the newer potions book. That was hilarious.

Re: Favorite scenes / lines in the HBP movie
Oh dear goodness let me see.....
Ron: "How much for this?" Fred & George: "Five Galleons." Ron: "How much for me?" Fred & George: "Five Galleons." Ron: "I'm your brother!" Fred & George: *Look at each other, shrug, then look at Ron once more.* "Ten Galleons." I love the scene in the hospital after Ron had been poisoned. The look on Snape's face in the background.... ![]() Slughorn: "Harry!" Harry "Sir?!" Ron: "Do you think she knows I exist?" Harry: "I should expect so, you've been snogging the last three and a half months...." Ron: "Who're you talking about?" Harry: "Who're you talking about?!" Harry making the Draft of Living Death and Hermione growing more and more frizzy haired...... ![]() I'll have to post more as I think of them.....

Re: Favorite scenes / lines in the HBP movie
Two of my favorite scenes were things not in the books. Slughorn talking about the fish and the lily plant, and Snape seeing Harry before going up to the top of the tower and killing Dumbledore. I loved the foreshadowing in that scene.
Yeah that was really funny. I also liked how both Ron and Hermione called Harry their best friend in the film. It was good to see them acknowledge that.

"Not to mention the pincers" *clicking noise and gestures*
I'm still amiss to why he was high. Glad he was though.

Re: Favorite scenes / lines in the HBP movie
I like the whole climax on the astronomy tower, it was quick and straight to the point. I liked Michael Gambon in those last moments as well. I missed the castle battle but liked how dramatic and cold the tower scene felt. Tom Felton did a good job at the very end too.

Re: Favorite scenes / lines in the HBP movie
What's funny about that is that I think Alan Rickman has sabatouged JKR's written effort at making Professor Snape evil; at trying to get us to dislike him. Rickman is brilliant, and there is a teeny tiny funny something about how mean and dismissive he is regarding our 4-eyed hero... that people love him. So we're rooting for him to be good in the end, even though the books give little suggestions that he will be.

Re: Favorite scenes / lines in the HBP movie
Luna's line about sleepwalking and wearing shoes to bed. That, to me, had to be the best line in the movie.
