Wizard Duel Animated Cartoons

Wouldn't it be pretty awesome to see your favorite HP character battle it out in one on one wizard duels? I thought so a couple of years ago when I made plans to see this done. I made an example animation to show people how interesting a wizard battle can be. You can see the cartoon on newgrounds - http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/384741 .

I had a tournament style roster set up with all the battle capable witches and wizards I could think of from the books (http://death-co.deviantart.com/journ...2539/#comments). I put their names in a hat and the match ups were decided.

I had planned to have the winners of the fights chosen based on votes from fans, so I wouldn't be blamed for picking sides. I had the roster up on my deviant art and the voting selection on my myspace. I didn't get any votes or support, so I abandoned the project.

But then I found a book called Harry Potter Should have Died and I learned of a massive HP fan community. Here! It got me thinking; maybe I could get a better response here and make something amazing with the help of hardcore Potter fans.

If you check out the Pilot episode of Wizard Duels and like it, there's good news! It was made three years ago when I was new to animation. I am capable of much more than what Wizard Duels shows.

I could do this project on my own, but I want to have fans included on the creation of each cartoon. Look at the battle roster and see who I've got against who. I'm thinking of making new match ups because I'm sure there are witches and wizards that I left out who would put up a good fight.

Lets make this happen!
