In the character featurette, it shows Snape starting up the stairs, then it cuts to him arriving at the top of the stairs. So that might have been where the editing came into place.

Also... I noticed Ron as Cattermole is in the courtroom with Umbridge and mrs. Cattermole! I totally didn't expect that. Looks like they changed that up a bit.

It's so strange that I'm not feeling the urge to watch any of the featurettes/clips...

Although I'm curious about something; I read that there was a scene where the Malfoys were discussing Harry's capture? Is Narcissa included?

In the B-roll footage, Scrimgeour's voice sounds like a mix between Lord Viktor from Underworld and Davy Jones. Brilliant!

The second B-roll, when Harry says "Can you take us out of here?", and then someone mimics Dobby's voice "Of course, I'm an elf". Haha, made me laugh out loud.

Yeah me too. Was that the actual voice actor, or just someone mimicking it? Anyone know?

To me it looked like the voiceactor was at the beach in the third B-roll, but maybe it just looked like him.

EDIT: Nah, on a closer look, I think that's David Barron.

At last, it feels like we are about to approach the release of Part I. From WB's press kit, we now have our clips, featurettes, the B-roll footage and the set interviews with the cast and crew. Next we should be looking forward to the various premieres internationally, Thursday's first reviews from the screenings for the critics and then the arrival of the film itself.

Now, I'm not sure if these have been linked to yet, but Warner Brothers has released several on-set interviews with the cast and crew. MTV also has a series of interview snippets with Tom Felton, including a particularly hilarious bit in which he teaches the interviewer how to brew a proper cup of English tea.

Haha I think I'll still pass. I don't want to be burnt out until the 19th. Thanks for all the vids though!

On another note, anybody else doing that Harry Potter adventure with OotP and HBP? I think that's too much Harry Potter in one evening. That's pretty much a work day, except in the evening.

I know what you mean about restraint. Despite my earlier viewpoint, I've made the decision to not watch any of the new clips that have been released by WB, but I did decide to watch the interviews because they contain very little in terms of spoilers.

Re: The Deathly Hallows Movie(s): News (with Spoilers) v.4

So after viewing nearly all of the new material released in the past few days, all I want to say is that after viewing the full version of Harry and Ron's fight, it looks like the HP films have finally reached a new caliber. I'm speechless, and taken by the incredible acting, photography, music, etc.

According to a recent tweet on her official Twitter account, Emma has all of her outfits selected for the premieres:

Ok question:

The death eater in the scene where they are dicussing when Harry will be leaving Privat Drive is the same death eater who makes the announcment in the MoM in the trailer/is casting spells at Harry as he tries to escape. Who is he? I thought the DE who makes the suggestion in the book would not be in a positio to make announcements are the ministry...or am I confused?

I think they are two different DEs. Pius Thicknesse is the one making the announcement at the Ministry, and Yaxley is the one running after the trio. ALthough Thicknesse isn't really a DE in the book and is only Imperiused.

I think we should have another bash of hi-res pictures before the film comes out. I remember that with HBP, we have 10+ pics with finished CGI and cinematography about a week before the film.

Thicknesse is the one making the announcement, while Yaxley is the DE casting the spells during the Ministry chase.

Bah, you can never have too much Potter! Haha, I've decided I'm doing this for sure and I'm wondering if they are considering a full marathon before Part 2 with ALL the prior films...in total it'd be like 20 hrs of Harry Potter! Now THAT would be totally insane!

Ok... Um... Sort of Off-Topic but still about DHII ... I am thinking back to our discussions of the Prince's Tale and how they could possibly use Alan Rickman in the scenes around the time of Lily's Death. Has anyone seen the new trailer for Tron Legacy? This just goes to show that given the new possibilities with today's CGI programs- you can have a MUCH older man made to look MUCH younger and in the same film! They've taken a good 30 years off of Jeff Bridges here. It's amazing. I don't see why they couldn't do this for Alan Rickman's scenes if they want to show the adult Snape reacting to Lily's death.
