LOL, I don't see any poll yet but this made me think of Bellatrix's line at Malfoy Manor about Harry being all "shiny and new" again.

Still not sure how I feel about that line BTW...it's kinda odd. I suppose it's to do with the polyjuice wearing off...?

For my part, I've stayed away from most of the video that has been released. I've seen a couple of TV spots and a couple of trailers and that has been it.

I think the marketing for this film was a bit ... odd. We got posters pretty late compared to when most films get posters. Even the trailers were released pretty late. The influx of photos, videos, etc. doesn't surprise me though because they usually do this when the film is about to be released. I haven't been looking at any of the new stuff though because I like being surprised.

In the flick, the on-screen boy wizard has to kiss actress Emma Watson and Radcliffe agreed with Garraway that it was very full on.

The 21 year-old said: 'It was [really full on], I was ambushed by that! I thought it was going to be this soft sensual sort of moment and suddenly there was this vigorous kissing happening to me. She is a bit of an animal.'

HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS - PART I is the first of a two-part adaptation of JK Rowling's seventh Harry Potter book. It is a fantasy drama about teenage wizard Harry and his friends Hermione and Ron as they work to stop the evil Lord Voldemort, who has taken over the Ministry of Magic and started to persecute 'mudbloods', or half-humans, who practise magic. It was classified '12A' for moderate fantasy violence and threat.

The BBFC's Guidelines at 'PG' state that 'Moderate violence, without detail, may be allowed if justified by its context (for example [...] fantasy)' and that 'frightening sequences should not be prolonged or intense. Fantasy settings may be a mitigating factor'. Although the characters in the film use magic, often in clearly fantastical settings, and some of the characters are magic creatures such as elves, much of this film takes place in familiar and realistic settings. There are also some stronger moments of violence which include some detail, particularly of injuries sustained by characters, with sight of blood and realistic-looking wounds. These include the word 'mudblood' shown in bloody scratches on Hermione's forearm after she has been tortured off-screen. This level of detail is better contained by the Guidelines at '12A'/'12' where 'moderate violence is allowed but should not dwell on detail. There should be no emphasis on injuries or blood'. Although there is too much detail, overall, for a 'PG' there is no real dwelling on that detail, nor any emphasis on injuries or blood beyond establishment of the wounds.

In terms of moderate threat, the film possesses a fairly dark and intense tone, in common with many of the more recent instalments of HARRY POTTER. Although few sequences are particularly prolonged, some of them possess a level of intensity that takes them beyond the 'PG' category, including a sequence very near the start of the film where Miss Burbage is tormented by Voldemort and the sequence where it is implied Hermione is being tortured off-screen by Bellatrix. These sequences fit the Guidelines at '12A'/'12' where 'Moderate physical and psychological threat may be permitted, providing disturbing sequences are not frequent or sustained'. As with other recent instalments, the general darkness of tone and occasional feelings of hopelessness make this better suited to '12A' than 'PG', as does the fact that various sympathetic and well-loved characters die or are injured. Being the first part of a two-part adventure, there is a notable lack of a reassuring resolution and certainly no happy ending.

Other issues include an unusual sequence in which we see a vision, conjured by Voldemort in order to taunt Ron, of an apparently naked Harry and Hermione embracing and kissing. Any detail of nudity is carefully concealed by angles and by the swirling mists of the vision but nudity is strongly implied. This sequence is containable at '12A' where the Guidelines state that 'nudity is allowed, but in a sexual context must be brief and discreet'.

The film also features occasional mild and discreet sex references and, in an animation sequence, an undetailed silhouette depiction of a person hanging himself. It does not feature any detail of the techniques of hanging, nor any suggestion that hanging is anything other than deadly.

There are also several uses of mild bad language, specifically 'hell', 'damn', 'git', '****', 'bloody', 'bleeding' and 'arse'.

Hermiones torture is implied?! I really hope we atleast see a little bit of it.

There was definitely some on-screen torture in the test screenings. Let's just hope they didn't cut it out for rating purposes.

Maybe they mean it is implied because you just see her screaming and then the mudblood happens off screen and we only see it after the fact. I hope too much isn't cut.

I don't know why it would be when Daniel Craig had a torture scene in Casino Royale and that was PG-13.

Well i don't think they were worried about the PG-13. I think they are worried about the 12A. They don't want the films to be 15s which will be a problem i think.

I'm becomes worried now that we will only hear hermiones screams while we are with Ron in the dungeon. I mean, there hasn't been one shot of hermione screaming or shaking in any of the trailers/tv spots/featurettes. Which is odd, because WB likes to have snippets of all the most exciting shots.

WB likes to keep the trailers at a PG level so they can reach out to every audience member they can. If there's a chance that anything could be considered PG-13, they'll clean it up for the trailer or just not show it. This is probably the case with Malfoy Manor.

I'm really excited for the reviews tomorrow! I'm wondering what the general consensus will be...

I'm hoping so. Hermione is my favorite character - and although this sounds quite strange - her torture is my most anticipated scene.

About the reviews, roughly how many hours till we can expect them?

I certainly agree that in the book Malfoy manor and Godric's hollow were the must intense scenes. We know that Godric's hollow has been changed, but i am hoping that Malfoy manor still has that intensity.

Though i am also looking forward to the silver doe/ball of light scene.

Now I'm getting worried about the torture scene too. I think the "mudblood" branding part will definitely be off-screen, but we should see at least glimpses of the "crucio" part. There are equally violent sequences in many other PG-13 films and I don't see why WB need to cut it down from the test-screening.

What change? If you're talking about Bathilda morphing into snake, I think that comes from an unknown IMDB/HPF poster, whom I don't trust at all.
