I think we will only see Neville when Harry sees him.

We've got a fair bit of Neville confirmed, if not directly in the battle. We have him killing Nagini, carrying a dead child, I think the walk from the Hog's Head in to the castle was confirmed or at least hinted at as well as the RoR stuff so I think we'll get a fair bit of him on screen, hopefully anyway

I also think Neville was there when they had all the people running at each other in the forest.

I dont want any recaps - everyone knows the plot to Harry Potter!

I think it will start with an evil scene, maybe Voldemorts joy at getting the Elder Wand etc. then the title will show and it will zoom into Shell Cottage.

You have to remember a lot of the film audience hasn't read the book and so doesn't know the plot, and so it will need some sort of reminder to jog people's memories. Having quite a big gap between what is effectively two parts of the same film is bound to make people forget what happened

I'm happy for part 2 to start at Shell Cottage, with that clip of Harry by Gobby's grave from the 2 part trailer, I think that's a good reminder. I think the conversation with Ollivander will be enough to recap the Hallows part of the story without having to do too many flashbacks or anything

I'm so disappointed with WB. I know I'm sounding like a broken radio, but I really am.

We're probably not getting Part II stuff until the sneak peek on the DVD. I think it's best not to rush into marketing again before the DVD release, considering that we have quite a bit until July. Honestly, I think some people are just expecting too much information too soon.

Maybe I'm just insane, but wasn't there some mention of some epic battle scene having to do with a bridge, and Neville was in it?

Yeah. That is the scene where they were running at each other near the bridge and Neville was there.

It would be awesome if we got some DH2 footage when HP gets its award at the BAFTAS.

Re: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part Two [incl. SPOILERS]

I'm still hoping for the Godric's Hollow flashback, but after seeing Part 1 again a couple of days ago, I'm not sure if they filmed it because they showed quick shots of the present Voldemort when Harry was outside the destroyed house, whereas if they filmed the full scene, they could have had shown Fiennes with a nose

Did he still have his nose at that time?

It's my understanding that his nose was 'lost' (as he turned more snake like) when he was surviving on Nagini's milk.

Of course, the film series could ignore this and infer that the nose was slowly lost during his rise to power, but I would a little disgruntled, but just a bit since that would mean that they'd show the Godric's Hollow flashback

Re: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part Two [incl. SPOILERS]

im sorry but i HIGHLY doubt there will be a godric,s hollow flashback. i personally feel we should just pick up where we left off in part 1. at shell cottage. at any rate we will know for sure in april when the test screenings will happen.

I could see them going either way with it. They could show it or just show the aftermath of it in Snape's memories.

Can you explain why you hate the idea?
