The Hobbit

Has anyone played this game from 2003? Just recently I thought of this game again and then came a whole wave of nostalgia from when I was playing it around the ages of 8-11. I listened to the soundtrack and remembered how absolutely fantastic it was, along with everything else making up the game with all the Middle Earth and folklore themes and whatnot. It's epic. Though the game is very much underrated, it's really awesome.

Although I plan to read LOTR soon, I actually have only couple-times read The Hobbit.

This was a really fun game. Kept to the story quite well, but it was also just really enjoyable whether the player has read the book or not. Of course, now that they're finally doing a live-action movie for "The Hobbit," I'm willing to bet we'll have another video game for it soon. Hope they'll do as good a job on it as they did with this one.

I loved this game as well. I was surprised at how well they stuck to the storyline. I wish there had been LotR games like it. If they do re-make the Hobbit game for the upcoming movie, I doubt it'll be as good as this one.
