Harry's scar disappearing when he watches Ron and Hermione go to Hogsmeade in PoA. Watched that movie a billion times and never noticed that mistake before!

Haha, I only realised that the other day when I watched PoA again. For some reason I just focused on Buckbeak more in that scene and saw what he did.

I love the mood-setting "Double Trouble" scene from PoA, but I've never fully noticed until last night how the series of toads being held by the choir students at the bottom row look like animatronics (any confirmation on this? they may indeed be real, but their movements are so deliberate-looking) - and how the one on the far right is seemingly bobbing its head left and right along to the music. It's so perfectly weird and Hogwarts-esque.

It took me watching a "Dumbledore review" on youtube to realise that it really does look like he's about to strangle Harry after his name gets pulled from the goblet of fire. I can't watch it without laughing now (which is better than complaining about him yelling, I guess).

Those might actually be animatronic which would be nice. I miss that sort of thing in movies.

They could be either animatronic or simple hand puppets. Either way, I thought it was a pretty cool touch, even if the choir isn't in the books.

One thing I spotted somewhat recently, actually, is in CoS, as Nearly Headless Nick is heading into the Great Hall, he 'takes his head off' to Percy and one Ms. Clearwater as they walk by. Can't believe I hadn't caught that all this time!

I recently rewatched Goblet of Fire and spotted something very small I had never noticed before. When Crouch has announced the age restriction for the Tournament, Fred and George yell in protest. Angelina Johnson, who is sitting right next to them and is of age, has this funny little smirk/grin on her face, because she will be able to enter the Tournament and they won't. Very brief, but I still thought it was funny.

I'm thinking someone may have mentioned it before, but in DH2 when Neville picks up the sorting hat and looks into it, you can hear the ringing sound that always accompanies the sword, and a reflection of light on Neville's face, as if the sword is reflecting light back out of the hat.

I never noticed that Harry's son, Albus Severus's initials are ASP...a type of snake. (They are on his trunk in 19 years later)

In CoS Fudge has long hair tyed in a ponytail.

PoA - As many people have said: Buckbeak pooing.

GoF - Wow, I never noticed how bad the editing is in this movie. Filch runs past Ron twice. When Snape hits Harry and Ron with the book, Harry turns his head away twice (also Daniel is trying so hard not to laugh), and during the priori incantatem part in the graveyard scene, there is a shot of Harry grabbing his wand with both hands, but when it cuts to the next shot, he's holding it with one hand.

In HBP, when Luna is giving out quibbler editions and talking to Ginny on the train, you can see a chocolate frog leap on the glass window and a kid pick it up and eat it behind them - a great homage to the first film.

In DH2, during the scene where the teachers put up the shield, you can see Neville, Seamus and Cho (I think) running across the clock tower courtyard towards the bridge, when the camera pans over the castle. Also (in the first boathouse scene) when Voldemort pulls his sleeve up and examines his arm, his skin is raw due to the destruction of his hocruxes.

Just yesterday I was rewatching OoTP and I clocked that there is a goat in the Hog's Head the first time we see Aberforth, and I went mental! I was like "Was that Aberforth and A GOAT?!" My boyf was like "Er, have you only just noticed that?"

Did anyone else catch Slughorn take a swig of something, and then put it in is cloak in DH2 right before McGonagall brings the knights to life? I caught that the other day. I wonder if it was supposed to be Felix Felicies...

During watching HBP, I had noticed from the beginning that Tom Riddle had a pic of the Rock in the Sea (cave), but last night noticed that there were 7 shells or rocks on his window ledge (future reference to the Horcruxes). Curious though...what was the book on the table...a reference to the diary?? What were the pages sticking out of it?

(Just a notation...how could he have a photograph? He was an orphan and it was like 1940's, AND he was the only one to go there except for Dennis & Amy)

Since the orphanage went to the general area on a trip, maybe its a postcard from the local shop?
