Having seen the film, I cried for almost half of the film - from when Snape dies to the end...

Too many....in the book alone I cried during Snape's death, the Prince's Tale, the Forest Again, Fred's death and during Harry's sacrifice. I'm going to be an emotional wreck!

I think the only part that might bring tears would be Fred's death, although it's more likely that there will be some random emotional point in the movie that will get me.

When I read the book I cried during the forest again. I think with the movie I will probably be bawling especially since I cried just watching the trios speeches at the london premiere.

I don't know, I have a feeling Fred will do it, and Snape, and Harry, and Lupin/Tonks, good thing I'm packing lots of kleenex

Just got back from the premier a little while ago. Seeing Lupin and Tonks lying together after the battle and their hands almost touching probably triggered the tears first. But Snape's death got to me the most probably. The pensieve scene and since you never really see Snape show much emotion and seeing the film version of Snape casting the doe patronus and telling Dumbledore "always" had me sobbing

Spoiler alert; just in case.

The Prince's Tale and Snape's death scene got me in hysterics. Remus and Tonk's dead bodies lying next to each other made me bawl as well, as well as Fred's.

Just came back from the midnight showing. It was the same for me. Snapes death was so brutal that it had me in tears. Then the princes tale really did me in. It was heartbreaking. Alan rick man was fantastic.

Spoiler alert:

He had me sobbing, especially When he was holding lily after she died and he was crying. I was a mess to the point I had to clean my 3d glasses!

SPOILER:

The Prince's Tale sequence definitely got to me!! And Snape actually told Harry that he has his mother's eyes right before he died! :'( Alan Rickman is brilliant as Snape.
The dramatic sequences had me teary eyed. Also, Harry walking into the forest and saying goodbye to Ron and Hermione had me quite emotional.

Seeing Fred was horrible. Seeing Remus and Tonks' dead bodies (almost) holding hands was heartbreaking. Especially since they were only showed briefly preparing for the battle. The next time you see them, they are gone. =(((

btw, just as an afterthought: Did anyone find it interesting that the movie was Neville/Luna shipper? Cute, but I thought it was odd considering that definitely was not in the last book.

Re: What will be the scene that will bring you the most tears in DH Part 2?

I saw the film yesterday. What part moved me to tears? None, I felt sad when I remembered the deaths in the books, Fred, Remus, Tonks and little Colin Creevey. In the book I even felt a pang for Snape. The film left me totally unmoved. I suppose it was because I felt like I wasn't really seeing an adaptation of the book. Is it so hard to adapt the Harry Potter books, keeping the characters and the storyline in sync? So many things for me were missing, I just wish that just once there had been an adaptation that I felt captured the books spirit. Alas, another failure IMO. All that money and talent and they can't find a way to use Rowling's actual dialogue in the films.

I was a crying mess tonight following Snape's death. I was crying on-and-off from then until when Hagrid was carrying Harry inside the castle. I was sobbing in some parts.

Re: What will be the scene that will bring you the most tears in DH Part 2?

i was a sobbing, crying mess with Fred's death......actually i started crying with Snape's death, but i have to say that Fred's death rocked me the hardest and that's mainly because my mother died 4 months ago and last Thursday, the 14th, would've been her 61st birthday so already that whole week before i even saw the movie was hard for me because i was remembering her, so it was SUPER EASY for me to put myself in Ron's shoes and imagine losing a loved one and family member....

i kinda knew i'd have a hard time with Fred's death, but just the timing of everything with everything else i was going through that week.......yeah, that got me......

I thought Rickman did such a fantastic job, and Yates did a surprisingly awesome job portraying that scene. Thats when it really hit me that what JKR did was remarkably beautiful, considering the way we all felt toward Snape after HBP.

Re: What will be the scene that will bring you the most tears in DH Part 2?

I sobbed uncontrollably when Fred died and when Harry was walking towards his death. Especially the scene where its just his face looking into the camera (my signature photo). I think the book made me cry more but Dan's face had this expression that he had never used before. It wasn't one of fear or bravery but rather just, surrender. I don't know, but I can't seem to shake that look and I remember just crying.
I also sobbed when Harry Ron and Hermione were standing on the bridge at the end. Its such a beautiful scene that seems to say, "Goodbye". Apparently it was also Rupert's saddest scene seeing as for him, it represents and is the closing of his Dans and Emma's work together.
The entire movie though was sad for me, I got choked up thinking about it now because it was the end and it was so beautifully done.

There were a lot of points in it that really moved me, but the only time I actually cried was when Snape was talking to Dumbledore in the Prince's Tale and said "always".

I started crying at Snape's death and didn't stop until King's Cross. I'm actually really surprised at that, I'm not a Snape fan and wasn't that upset when he died in the book. Alan Rickman deserves an Oscar simply for making me cry for a character I don't like. I was really bad when Harry was walking through the Great Hall with all the dead bodies, I was willing Fred, Lupin & Tonks to have not died

Re: What will be the scene that will bring you the most tears in DH Part 2?

I cried at quite a few points. At first when they walked into the hall and saw Fred, Lupin and Tonks that really got to me, then Snapes memorys I cried like a baby through it the same music used for Dumbledores death gave me goosebumps. The pain on Rickmans face when he was cradling a dead Lily...my god.

I cried even more when Harry summoned James, Lily, Sirius and Remus back, it was the most emotional bit for me in the book and it was portrayed so perfectly in the film. James's "We're so proud of you son you're nearly there" was just heart wrenching.

Finally cried in the epliogue.."Albus Severus Potter" just burst into tears again, the end music as well.

This film made me really like Snape at last.

Re: What will be the scene that will bring you the most tears in DH Part 2?

I cried at Snape's death and his memories of Lily. That part had made me emotional in the book but I didn't know it would make me that emotional in the movie. But I really cried when they showed the deaths in the Great Hall- Tonks has been a favorite since we met her in book 5 and it was really sad to see her and Lupin dead and almost touching hands. And then of course there was Fred and his family's reaction as they surrounded him. I was actually handing tissue to the people around me too and I heard a lot of sniffling in the theatre.
