I jumped in the Harry Express a little bit too late. I have always been familiar with the movies, but always felt the books were too long and tedious. Till one of those horrible days I just grabbed the first thing in my reach, which thank Merlin was my cousins copy of "The Sorcerers/Philosophers Stone". I read leisurley until the third or fourth chapter without really taking any of the words in, so I forced myself to read it again. And thereforth I guess you can say I was charmed. Harry Potter has become my refuge, my drug.
I have just finished the last book yesterday, and like discovering a loved ones empty corpse, I kept asking myself if that was really it. If that was all, and if that it was over that fast.
So instinctivley I went to Google, like for every other one of my problems. And I found this forum in which I hope to settle in and to familiarize myself with many other people like me.

Curious question, did there use to be a lot more posts? I came on here when Pottermore was announced and found I had a surprisingly low amount of posts. According to my stats, I never introduced myself or was sorted. I could've sworn I spent countless hours on here back in the day. The only posts from 2004 I see are in a few threads. I thought this was my digital home, but maybe it was another forum? I know before that I spent a lot of time in Yahoo! Groups but I thought once I signed up I was posting a lot.
